Another great folk rock singer songwriter who we lost so young. This is the music I grew up with. Unique storyteller & ballad singer. He touches your soul. He had a lot of great hits in his short career. "Photographs & Memories", "Time In A Bottle", "Operator", "You Don't Mess Around With Jim", "I Got A Name", "Workin' At The Car Wash Blues", "I'll Have To Say I Love You In A Song", "Lover's Cross", "Rapid Roy", "New York's Not My Home" etc.

Rapid Roy the Stock Car Boy is another lesser known song with a cool story. It's nice to see you do some of the older songs from amazing artists that didn't make it to the top ten charts. Jim Croce was sadly taken from us way too early. He was a great musical story teller.

I wish I had been old enough to go to one of his shows before he died ( I was six when he died). One of the real regrets of my life was that I never made the time to get down to San Diego to visit the bar and grill owned by his widow and named after one of his songs "Top Hat Bar and Grill". If closed a few years ago.
