This man was one of a kind. His passing is a huge loss for music lovers. From the Stones to The Replacements to Big Star to Ry Cooder and many more, he worked with the best. He was an artist and a true music lover. An intelligent futurist primitive that made incredible records and could also tell a story. He gave a a couple of hours of his time just to talk about Pleased to Meet Me and Big Star/Alex Chilton. He was wonderful to me. Thoughtful and generous with his opinions, memories and time. Rest easy Mr. Dickinson.
