Solid State Logic, if you want to send me one to try out for a few weeks, I wouldn't be opposed to it.

Ever notice how every single promotional video for a digital console end up saying it sounds like an analog console? lol

Because it doesn't lol.

@@alanbam5590 lol my church only has 32 (behringer x32) and they are all mono :/
@brandonkaiser83444 жыл бұрын
@@henrybatchem4617 mono is fine. People always rag but live stereo sucks unless it’s guitar amps. And in your in-ears you can live without stereo 32 should be able to cover a huge kit and a big band with everyone singing. You’re doing fine!!

You say: "When you hit the phase reverse button ... it's one delay" What does this mean, please? It should simply invert the polarity of the signal, without introducing any extra delay. Interesting video, by the way.
@TheGamesurfer985 жыл бұрын
Yeah well he explained in a bad way. Phase reverse is actually a confusing (and wrong) name, phase means time and it's frequency dependant. It should be called polarity reverse because it inverts the polarity of the entire signal. It flips the signal upside down. Hope this helps.

I'm shocked that there no soundcheck. I don't care who you are. There should always be a soundcheck even if the do a quick 15min run through. It's not just for us as techies its also to give band conference in understanding the venue.

Lots of acts don’t do live sound checks, if the band wanted a sound check they would get one but some are comfortable not doing one and if the results are good then all the power to them,
@conorm25243 жыл бұрын
I think it's a risky move. I know some high end engineers who really push for the band to soundcheck wherever possible. Sometimes a particular environment can really throw an act off. Doesn't matter if they're all on IEMs.
