The loveliest man and a voice of pure honey! RIP Mr. McCann. Never a week goes by without me listening to your beautiful voice. Hope one day to listen to you sing again. ❤

I've been a 'Folkie' and guitarist for many decades now.... There is 'No-One' that can do it better than Jim.... He makes me truly humble in my old age, and leaving me with a desire to be even better........

I agree wholeheartedly with both of your statements! Jim was also a very kind and friendly man. I had the pleasure of meeting him and thought the world of him! Still do!

Great singer singing a great song in his native Dublin. If this is not a lost paradise nothing is. Rest easily and pecefully. Jim McCann.

The reference to Kingsbridge reminds me of my Grandmother who grew up around the bells of Christ Church. Kingsbridge has been called Heuston for decades so even in the 1970s was a reference only used by the older generation. (renamed after a young clerk who worked at the railway station, Sean Heuston not to be confused with the Euston in London)
