Christian Cage is still one of the very best in the world! He makes sure that every match is meaningful and that every promo is entertaining and hard to forget. One of the true all-time greats yet he was held back so much by Vince. Hope he gets a massive run as AEW World Champion and main events All In with the title. He's always been underrated and it's about time that he got his flowers in the biggest way like be deserves.

Vinces name will be remembered far longer than Christian cage. Everyone knew Vince was doing what he was doing and no one cared. Even us fans knew he was a sick puppy. Then on top of it the women were willing participants and only had an issue once the money dried up. We all knew and nobody cared until he got caught. Of course the company has to distance themselves because they are publicly traded but no 1 truly cares. Vince transcends the sport much like Hogan did. Most non wrestling fans know who he is. That can't be said for Christian. I know who he is because I grew up in the attitude era. I've heard some good things about his time as Christian cage but he's not leaving an eternal legacy like Vince has. Lots of ppl have had good matches that we could never name. Not many have built an empire as big and popular as the WWE, which will live in long past vkms demise

Christian Cage has always been better than Edge both in the ring and on the mic. It's just that Vince chose to hold Christian back while pushing Edge to the moon for no good reason. The physique thing is silly. Bret, Shawn, Bryan, Rey, Punk all got way bigger pushes than Christian despite not being "big". Even Miz got a run as the WWE Champion and a WM main event?!?! There is not good reason for why Vince held Christian back. He deserved way better. One of the very best to ever lace a pair of boots.

Honestly? Especially at that time, Christian was MUCH better being silly. Even though he played the foil, he was a classically effective wrestler, with modern acting abilities to make it funny. However, "SERIOUS" Christian in TNA and WWECW bored me to DEATH. To the point it ruined his appeal. Captain Charisma was a decent mixture of the two sides of his gimmick, but when Christian became a regular babyface I hated his guts as a performer, he wrestled much slower and the whole personality was gone. I'm a lapsed fan so I don't watch AEW, but what little I've seen of Christian now he's doing a dark comedy act, which was much better than him trying to be a plain regular babyface or heel. Christian is funny, embrace it. And I agree with a lot of Vince's assessment on Christian's appearance. His gear was not flattering either.

I could never stand Christian - so I agree with Vince on this one. Christian always felt like a fan that somehow became a wrestler... and he definitely got to where he was because of Edge. He would've never made it on his own, because he lacks exactly the thing he says he's the captain of. No matter how hard he tries, he's just dull as dishwater. And that's why he never got over.
