Even aside from that, we are talking about the guy who changed and ending to put Diamond Dallas Page over and make him a giant star (Randy Savage chose to lose to DDP in their feud, DDP showed up to the arena expecting to lose). A toxic husband? Yes Randy was. A bully? Really? Compared to who? Like even the nicest guy in the WWE (Taker/Mark) has told stories of him doing shit (like holding wrestlers' court) that's such intense bullying it is literally against federal labor law while Savage was always elevating other performers and he's the bully? Ross, Vince, everyone in charge have loved despicable pieces of shit who did literal felony assault and they call it "ribbing" while not promoting their victims on TV (which might justify it as initiation hazing) but Savage was the bully. Jim Ross put over JBL and Sparkplug Holly and wants to claim anyone ever in history was a bully but not them? Honestly, I'm not even offended by Oklahoma anymore because Jim Ross does not deserve to be treated better than he treats others.

The irony of JR calling someone a "bully." Maybe Macho man saw through JRs b.s. JR plays favorites and he's quite the bully himself ala when Bart Gunn knocked out his boy Dr. Death. Obviously JR was happy about it and WWE even did a segment on this. I'm sure JR was responsible for Bart Gunn having to fight Butterbean which made no sense. I'm sure if Dr. Death won he wouldn't have had to fight Butterbean. It made no sense to kill off Barts momentum....unless JR had anything to do with it or as Macho man said "burying" him for winning the tournament.

Vince hated that his company's profitability depended on these wrestlers and their reputations. Vince wanted fans to come to a WWF/WWE sports entertainment event not a Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, or Randy Savage wrestling match. It took him decades but he finally achieved what he wanted. The only people still watching the show or going to WWE events are WWE sports entertainment fans. And nobody knows or cares who is actually wrestling that night. They are all interchangable and disposable. Just draw 8 names out of the hat and do some silly 8-man circle jerk to start the show. Orange Julius can't make it? Replace him with Zane Zodiac and nobody watching will care or even know the difference. It's SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT... not wrestling. And nobody is watching anyway.

I dont understand why Vince wouldn't have wanted Randy back (apart from the glaringly obvious rumuor*), even an old-er Randy Savage, with his flamboyance and star power etc was enough to draw Baby Boomer Cash, and that is something I dont believe Vince would've said No to. Now this isnt a stab at good ol' JR, but given his position its easy to think that the "eraser" was used a few times where Randy's name came up where JR is concerned, esp given JR's position as head of Talent relations at the time, I think we just learned why "Macho Man" Randy Savage wasn't bought back into the fold in this video right here

Marks go to all kinds of mental gymnastics to explain the blacklisting because they somehow can't accept it. It's funny. But literally everything points to it. The stories that Stephanie admired Savage and wanted to be like Elizabeth or even replace her so she can be with Savage are very well known. The fact that she was a massive slut (as told by Pat Patterson and others) back then. Combine that with the fact that according to Lenny after the divorce Randy "banged everything that was female and moved", i mean it's quite obvious.

Well, when you reach top guy status (and I don't mean just main event, I mean natural, over, recognized top-level) your priorities and the company's priorities no longer align. You want to build your brand and keep the top spot for as long as possible; the promotion's main goal though is to get the rest of the talent over using your fame, and making sure your fans stay even after you leave. Somebody like Stone Cold especially would have felt McMahon trying to anchor his success to the company because his last star on that level was Hogan - and Hogan was a dude who just left and initiated perhaps the hardest time in the company's history.

Mancho Man is greatest sports entertainer in wresting history. He was good on the stick, knew how work a match, and great sports commenter. More than Steve Austin butt kisser Jim Ross. Mancho was a real wrestler talk , bad he worried about getting buried. Vince was mad that Mancho took Slim Jim deal. With him too WCW. And, Vince never forgave him for that.

So far im hearing of jr vs savage jr seem more like a bully and a jerk and many interviews of savage he seem like all around good dude and anybody who think he mistreated miss elizabeth not at all elizabeth changed personalities over the years she screwed him over and she ran with the wrong sort of people and got into drugs sorry but the truth is out there its a very sad and tragic thing but anyway randy been through alot but still was a all around good dude until his unfourtunate untimely passing RIP savage jr should be ashamed of himself

Lanny told a story in the UK of Randy sucker punching Bill Dundee and said, next to Hulk Hogan that he could definitely be like JR says here.

Dutch Mantel told a similar story of Savage threatening to "beat the shit" out of him for no reason whatsoever.

Yeah, Lanny's words were "he had an explosive personality, either he loved you to death or hated you intensely...there was no middle way", Hogan replied "boy, don't I know that"@@phillytnoize

I always love when JR says comments like "if a guy helps your bottom line, you keep him." WHY DONT YOU TELL YOUR CURRENT BOSS THAT?????????????

Yeah, Randy was a great talent but calling him insecure is an understatement. Just the shit he put Ms. Elizabeth through, you knew Randy was not right in the head. And the insane amount of drugs he did only made him worse I bet.
