Honestly, I get Jeff at that point in his life. He was just so freaking young, and when you're young you feel invincible. JR said it quite good; He needed to mature a little bit more to ask for help It's nice hearing about that now in 2021, 10 years after he reached the bottom, knowing he had the strength to leave the addictions in the past.

All the things he achieved is really the testament to just how good the dude is. It’s shitty to say but if he wasn’t so good he’d have been out of the business forever ago with how many times he slipped up. And even with all the slips he still won multiple world titles. If he’d not had the issues he’d be even more immense of a star than he already has been. Really stinks he’s had the struggles off and on for so long. Primarily for his health but much less importantly it just would’ve been fun to see what heights he’d have hit had it not been a factor.

Love how Vince always had the idea to push him, even back then. He knew how over he was. Glad things turned out the way they did, but imagine the matches he’d have for the title back in 2004. Although I’d like to see him on smackdown, not wanting him to be buried by triple h and evolution, cus imagine the stuff they’d do to Jeff and Jeff go along with it cus he’d be in the main event. Probably bury him in terms of title picture. He’d always be over with the fans.

@knightshousegames
@knightshousegames 3 жыл бұрын
@@bradpaton3927 But thats just it, the wellness policy was toughened up, so Kurt could actually violate it twice. Before that he flew under the radar no problem. If it weren't for what happened to Eddie, we might have lost Kurt as well. Your logic on this matter resembles that of The British in World War 1 when they started issuing helmets and noticed head injuries were going up and thought the helmets were the cause, when in reality there were more head injuries because there were less people dying of head trauma, thanks to the helmet.

Because he was and is in pain, Jim. That's why. By 2004 the man had already been punishing his body on a daily to weekly basis for 7 years. Multiple times a week doing the swanton. A few times a month add in a table or a ladder. Over an over and over. Can you imagine what his back feels like when he first gets out of bed? And the man's only in his early to mid 40's. Now this is NOT an excuse for his driving AT ALL. A substance abuser still has a responsibility to not put other's lives at risk. When you're going to drink or pill up, do it in the privacy of your home when you're ready to wind down for the night. If you're out, get a damn Uber especially if you're a millionaire. But asking "why" he was doing it is a stupid premise.

He was let go before wm 19 which was in march of 03 his last match was vs the rock on raw Its a shame to because that 2003 year might have been huge for him he started the year in a mini feud with RVD had a real good match with Jericho at no way out and the then he started to lose matches and he was kinda turning heel and HBK superkicked him back to babyface Then he went from baby heel to babyface to saving trish stratus from stevie Richards and Victoria and making out with trish and as a 9 year old me i was thinking jeff is the coolest guy in the world

Jeff's solid ability To wrestle only like the Charismatic engima can is what makes him unbelievable.Facing those addictions are heavy so I respect the fact that He is a human being just like us has faults. He needed to focus on Himself before hitting the ring and I understand that . But all that time and energy He could have flooded the WWE and been just as big a name of any of em even Goldberg 🔥 Cena Rock HHH Shawn .He would have been awesome in those storyline roles because all he needed was a little mic work and He would have changed the WWE forever. He's still my favorite of all time .

My father had encounters with certain personell at a young age let's just say in a not very pleasant manner in his Hurling and Gaelic Football club (Irish sports) I felt that was the main root to his drinking problems. Then again if that didn't happen I feel he would have still had the same addictiveness towards alcohol. I guess that behaviour of getting attached to a substance is either in you or it's not kind of thing you know.
