It's a shame super cena went over him in that absurd match where he choked him out with the ring ropes. I truly feel that if Umaga had gone over he'd still be a top heel today. If EVER there was a time for Cena to lose, and a person for him to lose _to_ it was that night, and Umaga. He could've been the next great, big man. Instead we have the tragedy that we do. He was practically jobbed out afterwards, and went from a monster like vader to a clown like Kamal. Also, RIP everyone I've talked about besides Cena. Crazy how that works....

Rehab does not work unless the person going there has reached rock bottom, and is 100% committed to change. Eddie outside the ring was a great guy, met him in TNA as Ekmo, and as Umaga years later. I think is was less a weakness thing, so much as a, I like taking these meds, and don't want to stop. I know this from first hand experience. Umaga was on Opoids as well as muscle relaxers. Besides the physical pain a big man feels from the way he moved, you also mask psychological pains with those meds. It is a cycle that takes all the intestinal fortitude you have and then some to quit. It is not easy for some, as the mental detox is far worse to walk away from than the physical. Hope any of you with substance abuse issues know you are for sure not alone. Fight on bruddas[and sisters].

I feel so sorry for Conrad Thompson. It's clear he makes NO money AT ALL outside of whatever he's paid to basically make it so these wrestling personalities don't appear to be talking to themselves. It's pretty clear he's desperate for cash.

@@billhicks6449 Well, being married to Ric Flair's daughter totally changes things!!! Obviously, he's a real man's man, living off his girlfriend!! That's so cute!!!! Because Ric totally has no debt and saved all his money and so he can just give it to his kid so she can give it all to her boyfriend, who is a failure in life the likes of which have not been seen since Donald J Trump! I wonder what it would be like, having my girlfriend pay my way in life while I pretend to have a business and be the guy whose only job in life is making sure a wrestler doesn't appear to be talking to themselves. Of course, I won't know, because I pay my own way in life and don't need to pay wrestlers to be friends with me.

@@alexandertroy9621 What footage? The footage of him on every wrestling podcast so the talent doesn't appear to talk to themselves? That footage? If he was such a massive success, he wouldn't have to pay to get wrestlers to talk to him. He's the fat, hillbilly version of HHH.

I wouldn't say it's woke. Yeah women's wrestling is treated more legitimately now, but so was it in the 60s, 70s and 80s. Yeah the attitude era was the shits for women's wrestling, but I don't think it sets the standard for women's wrestling. Everyone knows their entire women's roster back then was taken from underwear models. Nowadays and the afforementioned decades women are legit athletes and train as such.

He was being wreckless in the ring and was becoming unsafe to work with because of his self medicating and then going out and working a match! That's when they knew he had a problem, they offered to get him help by sending him to AND WWE paying for, rehab for him. Then, if he straightened up and got sober, they would bring him back! Umaga REFUSED help. So, therefore, they HAD to let him go because of his issues he refused to take care of. WWE was not at fault in any way. Sometimes, some people just don't want to be helped. Or their brain is so out of control that they believe they don't have a problem or that they don't need help because they can quit on their own, when they really can't. Sadly, that's what happened here. He refused multiple attempts for help offered to him. End of story. Sad to say, but these are just straight facts.

@@seanpurdom6380 I´m always wary putting the final judgment on a situation without having heard both sides of it. Umaga never spoke about this giving his side and knowing the WWE it´s a bit difficult for me to believe their version of events portraying themselves as the good guys.
