Dude. I bowhunt this private spot in Indiana. You have to pack all your stuff in an literally cross a river with waders. I get into my tree about 1.5 hours before dawn and get dressed at the base of the tree. This clown on private drives a 4 wheeler to his stand at literal shooting time. I watch HUGE bucks come off that ridge every single time they do it. And I damn near killed one of them but he stayed just a touch far. People have no idea how stupid driving a 4 wheeler into the woods is.

Good to see you two together hunting again and Jim you made those Tennessee hills look like kids work but I'm sure you felt it later on but that's what keeps you young. A buddy of mine called me one night and asked me to go call for him the next morning cause he heard some gobblers two miles back in so we did and as the good lord as my witness I called in seven Jake's all single file and all we gobbling in sequence when he plowed the closet one. One of my best turkey hunting memories. Congrats men and stay safe out there.

Golley I wish I had open terrain to walk thru like that. Down here in Florida it's soooo thick!! Absolutely cannot walk a straight line or shoot even thru 70% of what I hunt. First time turkey hunting, I'd say it's definitely making me a better hunter. It ain't easy lol. Great video brother 🤘💪🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Tom or Jake really doesn't make much difference to me they All taste the same when breaded and deep fried in hot oil. Besides you can't eat the beard or the spurs anyway. Fresh fried turkey breast and some morels if you find some is a meal fit for a King! Great call by Catman to keep Jim from killing that second bird, I can honestly see how mistakes like that can happen.

Nothing more frustrating than lazy people driving ATV’s around during turkey season. The club I was in had signs at each end of the hollow that said “no ATV’s beyond this point during turkey season” so many people would just ignore it and ruin hunts.

Wondering why you don’t use decoys…..
@dustinmauldin32122 жыл бұрын
Because it’s public lane and as dumb as 98% of turkey hunters are and shoot at the first glimpse of a red head or Turkey he’d end up shot. Prime example of that is the first hunt in this video, over excited and didn’t take the time to even see what the bird was, shot a Jake.
@EW-gv5ov2 жыл бұрын
Don’t really need them . Shot way more Turkey without a decoy then with . Especially in the timber .
