I have a home-based small engine shop in Jacksonville, FL. I mainly repair commercial 2 stroke stuff for landscaping and tree guys, but like to fix older stuff when I have the time. I have an almost identical 150 except that paint is almost new. I fought the carburetor on that thing several times. Finally realized the rebuild kit had a slightly longer metering valve diaphragm and even though it would build pressure and hold, it didn't always after a day or so. Sometimes these old saws can test your patience, lol!

Aftermarket carb kit? I hear they aren't as accurately made as genuine oem carb kits.

Hi i had a quick question, i have a 46cc 2 stroke i locked up the other day, had to break the piston free with a hammer and peice of wood. Im sure the cylinder warped but i sanded it out smooth and also the piston and the ring glands amd put new rings in, i could feel that the cylinder is kinda warped because when i pull the pull start there is a little restance thats not from comprsessiom, anyway i got it to fire up, and did severa heat cycles hoping that could warp the cylinder back around the piston and make it round again, after about 8 heat cycles just letting it run for 15 min each time, i rode the scooter around and its riding hard, was wondering if you think it might lock up again thow, because there was some aluminum transfer on the piston and cylinder and i didnt get it all out, just got it smooth with sand paper so do you think it will most likely lock up again on the same spots?
