What an absolute legend! It’s so honourable of Jim to acknowledge his wife’s sacrifical support. Also, Jim and Zach’s bromance and respect towards each other is the coolest thing ever. As usual, great interview Dylan. Freetrail has done a phenomenal job this past week in capturing the best bts and most organic chats with some of the best people in our community. Thank you! #cestboncestbon

Jim is such a humble and kind human. But when he had to drop the hammer he did with a level of athleticism that is unrivaled. But Zach and Germain were incredible as well. What an incredible race and finishers on the podium.

I am a big fan of Kilian but Jim as well as Zach are amazing athletes and great guys overall. I've been very happy seeing Jim winning this UTMB, he deserved it, he has been grinding hard these last few years. Congrats Jim!

What a "giggle" you have placed in my life! Mr brother, was also a runner, and years ago said you were so advanced, that you would explode beyond recovery, but.....What a supporter Jesse has been ..Great!

Good interview. I would encourage DBo to add quick mentions of how far through the race each of the aid stations you mention are--especially the first time you mention it. It would help listeners who haven't run the race (the vast majority of us, I assume) understand the competitive aspect of the race much better.

I was so sad when last year he just didn't make it to the podium after leading for such a while. This year he revenged himself! What a hero. I enjoyed the race very much.

It’s never over til it’s over!!! I was riveted to the feed!!! And then that hug with Zach @the finish!!! (I’m not crying. you’re crying). So emotional!!! Loved it all…now I can breathe

So glad to have witnessed Jim win this year! I dragged my tired post-CCC a** to the city center to watch Jim take the win, and he was welcomed with SUCH joy by the crowds...I'll definitely cherish this memory!

So stoked for Jim to win it finally after all the attempts and blowing up and after all the sacrifice moving even to a different country! Great year for USA overseas! Not gonna lie it was quite annoying seeing a couple of haters on the main live feed constantly saying that he had DNF or that he would .. the win was a perfect cherry on top!

I’ve been following Jim for the past 7 years and it’s pretty interesting to hear him interviewed now compared to the early days. I can certainly forgive the cockiness of young Jim, the way he conducts himself now he’s a brilliant ambassador for the sport and comes across as a very special human. Happy for him!

Another awesome interview. Love it. Any chance you could give the mileage when speaking of various aid stations? That would really help us visualize the race. I’m a big fan and maybe it’s just me, but I have close to zero idea of the location each aid station. Of course I could totally be an outlier.
