Thanks a lot for watching! This is a single full length film covering most of my canoe trip across Northern Manitoba, Canada with my brother @Ted Baird . I initially ran this as a 24-part episodic series and I cut the footage down by over half to make this very long single movie. Enjoy! please subscribe and thanks for all your support.

I love the long videos instead of the episodes, because even when put on auto play it plays out of order for episodes. So the longer ones I always choose them!

Jim I wish I could do something like this. I try to watch all of your trips. Yours and Teds. I really enjoy you two. I Moved from Anchorage Alaska to Illinois in 2021. We drove the Alcan. I tell everyone what beautiful country it was! The Yukon was so amazing. I wanted to reach out to you guys to see if we would be anywhere near you to get pictures together. That would have been great! Looking forward to more of your trips. I love all of the antics you guys have. Missed the meals you guys cooked during this trip. I saw most of them when I watched the series. We miss seeing Buck. Want you to know that I loved him like he was my own too. God bless you for being his friend. Jon

I watch both of your channels religiously. Was home, sick with the flu (not the hachoo bug) and it was such a blessing to find this 11hr gem all together (I had seen all the individual vids). I think about Ted's comments on the fly-ins and weekend warriors vs what the First Nations people and Voyageurs did.....we do it to test our mettle...as a vacation from life....recreation. YOU two do it in the spirit of the Voyageurs....a way to make a living at something you're passionate about.....envy you both for that....thank you! BTW.....Bungle has become my favorite word.....HA!

This is by far the longest KZbin video I have ever watched . Wow what an amazing adventure!!!!!! The ending was super hardcore. Floating in Hudson Bay in a Canoe with strapped with antlers shooting a shotgun surrounded by whales and polar bears waiting to be picked up by a boat haha. Incredible. Thank you for producing this.

You’re welcome! That was indeed a great ending to the adventure. We were a tad concerned that we could have issues with the bears as we paddled out. Longest video I’ve ever uploaded by far.

I watch every second of the commercials on your channel because of the amount of work you put into every episode. I can’t imagine what a pain in the ass it must be to lug all that stuff everywhere. Setting up cameras along the trails and going back and forth just to get the shot for our entertainment. I think most of your viewers feel the same way. We love the videos Jim and Ted so please keep them coming. Be safe out there bro’s

Will do and thanks very much for giving my content a shot. I’m glad you like it! It is a lot of work for sure. It makes the portages harder and ultimately means we have to do three trips as opposed to two trips in each portage.
@Dieseldog172
@Dieseldog172 Жыл бұрын
No doubt it’s tough stuff, on an different adventure, I recall you had to portage about 1/2 mile and then after just a couple hundred yards you had to portage again over a 1/4 mile. I was thinking to myself, fuuuck that man. Lol but dudes like you may complain about it but deep inside you love the pain. Beast mode bro !!! Keep those long videos coming bro and be safe cuz it’s a jungle out there

Jim/Ted. Wow. Freaking amazing. What an amazing expedition. Thanks for bringing this to living rooms everywhere. Those were some amazing Walleye! Nothing like beating your own PB fish from a few minutes prior. And the polar bears at the end to cap off such a trek. Phenomenal. You are both quite funny and enjoyable to watch. What a docu! Apologies, but I'm from Scotland and had never heard of you guys until you were mentioned in the Paul Kirtley Podcast. So humble, tough and open. A learning experience for us all in how to apporach a remote journey; a sibling (and best friend) and, above all, how to respect nature, You both had utmost respect for everything you came across, including each other. In this sometimes too small world, I've got a bottle of single-malt with your name on it. You're so lucky having your brotherhood and past experience to be able to pull this trip off. In awe.

This follower from Spain saw the entirely video during the weekend. Now all muscles on my body hurt. Carrying those canoes and gear in portages is exhausting. I totally agree with you in 10:26:00 talking about why you do this and the two types of fun. I like to travel by bicicle and those moments when you are suffering climbing a slope are compensated when you descend and the beauty of the panoramics. Thanks a lot for sharing all this beautiful landscapes, wild life and experiences. This should be in discovery channel, netflix etc. Congratulations!!!

Thank you so much guys for keeping it real. To quote the beloved Bill Mason “ The problem with film is you show it like it is, everyone goes of to sleep.” On the contrary I absolutely love the fact that you guys are so natural on film and sing us those great songs and come up with great antidotes and show thinks absolutely the way they are. I live in Manitoba and at my age will realistically never paddle the Seal but you guys opened a window to experience all the harshness and incredible beauty of an extremely wild place! Have been off on leave from work most of the winter and your videos have kept me enthralled and laughing and chocked up. Thanks again for sharing your amazing journeys. Hope your family are all well and you are able to make some more canoe trips with them this summer.

Thank you for showing me the whole adventure through your eyes. You made it interesting and at times I felt so sorry for you for the hardship, but you've handled it magnificently! I appreciate all the care you've taken to show me this adventure. It took me a couple of days to watch it and I loved it! It trump any TV series! 👌👌Well done and God bless. 👌👌🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Big thanks for tuning in and taking the time to watch! I’m really glad you gave it a shot and enjoyed it so much too. It was a tough trip but not always so tough as there was a lot of beauty to take in and stretches of swift current where we could relax.
