You can search "TheComicalCanadian" on youtube and you'll get that this guy is a scammer just like - Tyler W - Tyler Winter - Tem - Tom (Notice how it all starts from "T") amp.reddit.com/r/youtubers/comments/fnm7ig/question_regarding_thecomicalcanadian_and_youtube/ Searching "TheComicalCanadian" shows LittleKingRyan btw. He changed his name to this which he got from a youtube channel about fortnite, kept his account private, and started doing these comments with the verified logo so people'd get confused and check and posting memes and vibes on his YT's story just to keep his account stable.

I had a scam attempt back in 2014, was told that my computer was causing problems on the internet and that it needed to be fixed and that buddy on the phone could do it for me. He had me run various commands (which I googled first) I am a computer technician but did mostly hardware diagnosis and repair. In the end I told him that I wasn't playing his game and that we were done. The whole time my wife is telling, just hang up!! In the end in his frustration he threatened to cut off my internet access if I didn't pay him. I told him to go ahead and block my access. (there was no remote connection) He cried a bit and hung up!! Love what you do Jim, keep up the good work.

I used to make animations at that website, and I reckon I've made about 20 or more of them. There was a limit to how many animations could be made, but that was easily bypassed by using the 'older' animation maker to make new animations. Some of the animations I've made include: - four based on each one of the Wii MotionPlus instruction videos - one where a disc ejects itself from a Wii console and flies at a stick figure - one called something like "Ganymede is the largest jupiteran moon in the solar system" (this was before I realized the correct term was Jovian) - one inspired by the game Bash the Computer (I may have put the S word in there before the bashing - I likely didn't know it was a swear back then) After a while Miniclip would eventually recede to the back of my mind for a while and I wouldn't think to go back there again until a while after Miniclip had discontinued that part of the site. I had a neighbor who was scammed out of $20,000 over months. She was elderly and didn't really understand what was happening. When her niece found out, she told her to stop payment to them. The scammers ended up calling her and threatened to kill her and her family if she didn't continue paying them. Since they had her address on file, they told her where she lived and it terrified her. She continued paying them another $10,000 dollars until her nieces' husband, who is an officer, found out called them and threatened them. She changed her number and sold her house because of these scammers. I loathe scammers and love Jim for doing this to help the victims.

Thank you for your work Jim. One of my daughters got one of these pop-ups and called "microsoft" for help when she was in university. It was a saturday night and she was trying to upload an assignment. Normally I would be her IT guy but as it was late and I was a 4 hour drive away she didn't want to bother me. Around midnight she called me in an utter panic because she could not get into her computer any longer and the guy who she had spoken with kept calling demanding payment or else she would "never be able to use her computer again". I packed up and drove out there and arrived around dawn. Luckily she had paid attention to me and had learned to backup daily and to be sure to disconnect her backup drive once the copy was done, so all her data was still there and fine. Just not able to log into windows. While I was there the same guy called at 7AM on Sunday morning and again demanded payment so I took the call from him. I could almost hear the smirk on his face as he gloated about what he had done and that my daughter would never graduate now unless I paid him. He kept throwing all manner of insults and really seemed to like to call me a dumb American. He was also now demanding double ($500 US). I took so much pleasure in letting him know that there was no data on the laptop and it was all saved on a backup drive AND that I had brought a freshly re-imaged replacement drive for the laptop and the fix took less than 5 minutes. In less time than it took to talk with him I had her PC back up and she was able to upload her assignment. This lead to my daughter and I having a nice chat and at the end I asked her "and what did we learn from this?" to which she replied "Always talk to you first before I let ANYONE touch my laptop". She has not failed to do so since. :)
