"JAL" was a band mainly "Atif Aslam, Gohar mumtaz(guy who sang in last) , Farhan saeed)... the melody/instrumental version was from their first song AADAT which got fame like a fire in South asian subcontinent... they became popular specially Atif but unfortunately these guys parted ways... but this song remained nostalgic and the iconic song... :) edit: "har jaga hai JAL means everywhere is JAL(the band), giving tribute to their iconic song and Band"

The orignal song was sung by Atif Aslam. He was part of the band JAL. Gohar Mumtaz, Shazi, and Atif were a band. Then they split and atif went solo. Orignal Jal was just together for one song but it was epic. Later Jal was continues without Atif but taking in Farhan Saeed.

Hey Jim, Just to give you some background. Its mashup of two different songs. Fist part instrumental part (before the singer comes) is for Song Aadat. Original song was released in 2004 and was sung by Atig Aslam. At that time Atif Aslam was part of this band named "Jal" along with Gohar mumtaz(guy who sang in last) , Farhan saeed.
