jimi hendrix is the best guitarist to ever walk the earth R.I.P JIMI

Pisses me off that people think Rock n Roll is all about being sexy and cool. No one mentions the freedom of thought, innovative nature and refusal to conform that comes with it. People just think of shirtless dudes in tight pants who get loads of girls. It's boring.

nobody is on a level with his musical mind. when somebody creates masterpiece albums like he created I will consider to then think about somebody close to his musical mind. The Greatest Musical Mind ever that has land on the Planet Earth Period.

The most important part "When He was 13 He taught himself to play Guitar" is skipped over as if it was irrelevant. It's the same in so many Documentaries about gifted Musicians

That's the Era of SUPERFICIALNESS!! Today, all you have to be is 'pretty', spit in a mic, 'scratch' a turn-table, or form a 'boy-band'...and that's all it takes! When Jay-Z, and the like are considered 'geniuses'...well...

Jimi was about to bring back Chas Chandler as his manager. Michael Jeffery, former MI5 agent, was losing control over him. So, he decided to cash him in. (Like Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston got cashed in.) What is the first thing that happens when a superstar dies? Their handlers get rich. Karma was relatively swift, and Jeffery was dead in two-and-a-half years due to an in-air plane collision.

@KristianCramer To either of you, it's incredulous to call Jackson stupid!! I was using him as a reference and I am an avid supporter of both entertainers!! I was speaking on the buy into conspiracy theory, I do believe that outside assistance aided in the demise of both of them, not to mention from far away back as Jimmie Lunceford, Sam Cooke, Dr.King, it's something that don't line up, cause if Hendrix was supposedly full of wine why was alcohol barely traceable in his urine?

I dont really care if you dont believe me, thats just what my guitar teacher told me and if you knew him you would know hes not lying as hes quite a shy man and he wasn't boasting about meeting Hendrix, I had to get it out of him. I guessing it was when jimi first came to england and was looking to form a band. My guitar teacher was on the london music scene at the time with a band called Clark Hutchinson (look them up if you want)
@elephantricity13 жыл бұрын
Its so strange, these brilliant muscians, SRV, Hendrix come from such humble beginnings. They played amazing, but could barely find work and if they did, it wouldn't be for much. Its seems like chance that they are "noticed" by someone important who puts them on the big stage.

He took too much Mandrax (some name like that) for sleeping and did not understand the "dosage" in Swede apparently. Plus he'd had some drink to wash it down....not a good idea there. The paramedics bumbled it as well from what I had heard but conspiracies? Hogwash.

He took 9 sleeping pills. eight more than the recommended amount. then he fell asleep and choked on his own vomit. Dont you think that taking waaaay too many sleeping pills could have had an effect on his body that then made him vomit?.. you could kinda call that an overdose
listen.. do you even know what a troll is?.. because i sure as hell is not one of those. i said i do not think he was murdered and that's my opinion.. deal with it.
