The parallels between Jimi and Prince have always amazed me .... not only prolific, outstanding composers, but two of the greatest guitarists of all time, one a Huge influence upon the other, .... and they even Looked alike! I have it paused at 5:42 right now, and ..... yeah, Jimi looks so much like Prince .... and they were also very soft spoken and quiet during interviews, and their views regarding music, politics, and life were pretty much identical too ....

I loved Jimi as a friend. His talent and writing were unparalleled , even up to this day. It was a great shock and lose to me when he died. I'm not sure how it happened, you never know. Anything is possible. All I do know is that his music and stories had a profound affect on my life. I am now 68 and it's been 51 years since he died. I was 18 at the time. No one will ever replace him or equal him. He had a magic, a gift, a genius, that made him appear to be from the future. He was so far advanced for his short life. God Bless Jimi and I hope to see him again in the future.

I became obsessed with Jimi Hendrix. His music sounded so much like the constant noise in my head, noise in Manhattan, noise in the subways. I loved his otherworldly look. I always thought I didn't belong on this hate-filled planet. I was born in '61. I didn't hear Hendrix music until the he was already dead. It was prob 1974. The kinds I hung out with weren't into the 60s. I always felt I'd missed out because I was a hippy at heart. Peace and Love. Anyway, young, traumatized, and on drugs, I became sure that he was my angel. I was sure the Voodoo Chile would swoop down from outer space to come get me. He'd take me to the next world. "I'll see you on the next world, and don't be late." HIs lyrics were the words I didn't have for everything I'd been through. Decades after that, I realized, I'd just been a lost little girl looking for a savior. Hendrix was just a man and he never knew I existed. I told a friend and she said, "Yeah, he was your invisible friend." I said, "Yes! You're right! Just like god." Anyway, I still remember the lyrics to nearly every song, I've read a lot of books about his life, and I have the weird feeling that Monica Danneman was a woman scorned and out of rage for his infidelities, she set him up. I wish I could talk to someone who knows the truth. I don't go for conspiracy theories but I've read so much about the inconsistencies in her statements, that she wasn't there, that the pills were double-strength, that he'd downed a ton of alcohol. Thanks for this video. If there are other Hendrix fans out there who know anything about his death, please let me know!! Cheers, Dorri And, in case anybody is curious ... some of my writing: www.dorriolds.com/70s-jimi-hendrix-posters-beanbag-chair-lava-lamp/ Here's a bunch of my rockstar art (with many versions of Jimi, of course). facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151074061664573&type=3/ PS I won an award for this little story about me as a runaway teen in Greenwich Village haunted by the ghosts of dead rockstars www.dorriolds.com/9-lives-weeble/

@@Darrenbannerstubley Hey!! Interesting. Did ever read anything that convinced you? Or did you see a video about that. I’ve always thought Monica was probably involved. She was a woman scorned - Jimi was supposedly with Devon that night. Monica was flipping out in front of a lot of people (supposedly) and the weirdest thing is that her story kept changing every time she spoke of that night. I have wondered why Jimi had predicted his death. Was he threatened by mob characters? Was he warned by someone? Or was it that he was sick of planet earth and ready to leave so he was taking enough drugs to kill an elephant? It’s so weird about the possible wine washboarding. I wish there was a way to get to the truth. It’s such a mystery.

Watch Romesh Ranganathan program on death of Jimi Hendrix, it features Roger Daltrey, Hendrix was at his house the weekend before he died and was out of it on Barbiturates. Fact is Barbs kill people very easily mixed with alcohol and other drugs. Back then toxicology autopsy was very basic and he could have been on a bad acid trip just before death!

Jimi was a loving man, he was gentle and listener of others words while inconversation. In the US he was abit fearful for life, many dusliked him and openly called him the dreaded 'N" word. While before and after crossing the pond,he was looked at through jealous eyes. There he was black and the man who imocently uprooted all the guys who never saw what was coming . So imagine having the level of palpable negitivity around you ,all the blockrrs to look away from and all the there are thousands everywhere who are seeing and hearing this space man from rock and roll heaven in the infancy. Jimi Hendrix unknowingly blew rock off planet earth like it or not. I believe he would have a hard time accepting just how much or people have never left him back in a dusty history memory. If he was murder because of his power to collect the love from people while dismantling the haters with song and words at the same time that's a horrible reality we have. On the other hand his death deliberate or accidental then still that's a different reality we have. How a person can slip away on us and one of such major presence is as fucked as the above options. I never meet him I never saw his show in person but the level of grief I hold within in more than of a family member. That's saying about Jimi I believe what could have been is something to really consider because either way you think on of his death only comes to the conclusion what ever that would have been it would have brought with it a completely new set of circumstances. And so his death a terrible lose but maybe not thought so by an evil scared mind or two . Long live your memory Mr Jimi, like perpetual motion.

Here’s my take on it- it’s no secret that Jimi wanted to leave his manager Mike Jeffery. Jimi knew he was getting ripped off big time. In the late 60’s the Jimi Hendrix Experience was commanding up to $100’000 a gig, a lot of money now, a fortune in the 60’s. When Jimi died, he had approximately £14 English pounds in his bank account (£32 was the average weekly wage in 1970) Mike Jeffery by all accounts was a poor businessman. Although he was making a fortune through Jimi, The building of Electric Lady Studios, various clubs and bars, plus offices to run, the mob wanting paying for Jimi’s studio being in the heart of New York, touring expenses, etc......Jeffery knew that if Jimi flew the nest, it would be game over for him. It’s been widely reported that while in New York, Jeffery would pay a visit to certain premises and come out with suitcases full of cash. In short, the man was in up to his neck! Several months before Jimi died, Jeffery took out life insurance on Jimi for $2000’000. Sometime after Jimi died, Jeffery got paid out. As Noel Redding said, Mike Jeffery done very well out of Jimi’s death. Jeffery had the motive to have Jimi dead, the CIA/FBI would have preferred him dead. Allegedly, Jeffery was in the military before getting into the music business. He alleged himself that he was in the special forces and knew quite a few people who could be hired and kept their mouths shut. How does someone accidentally overdose and at the same time pour large quantities of wine all over themselves and in their hair? Think about it, it doesn’t make sense. Also, one of the ambulance crew stated that when they found Jimi’s body, his clothing and the bed sheets were a real mess, lots of wine and vomit. He was lying on top of the bed sheets fully clothed. They had seen many dead bodies before and could see straight away that Jimi had been dead for some time. Accident? I seem to remember Kathy Etchingham (Jimi’s long-standing partner in England) tried sometime back in the 90’s to get Jimi’s inquest into his death reopened without success. She was not satisfied with the original verdict-too many unanswered questions. We will probably never know what really happened to Jimi that last night, but, an accident? I don’t think so.

Hi Gray, right that you paid attention to this subject. As the organizer of the Jimi Hendrix Music Festival back in the days, I know Noel Redding, Buddy Miles, Monica Danneman, Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter, Jack Bruce, Mitch Mitchel and many others. We have talked about this topic many times, and of course, it remains to be seen what exactly happened. One thing is sure to me that he did not commit suicide because he wanted to retire as a stage artist for some time. Jimi was depressed and used excessive drugs to forget the pressure around him. The establishment of Electric Ladyland studio forced him to give gigs until 1975. The money that Jimi has made has all disappeared in dark practices for which Jeffery was responsible. Jimi was an empathetic person and very sensitive to his environment. Due to the death of his mother at the age of 16 and the lack of maternal love, Jimi surrounded himself with many women who acted as a mother role. Many people confuse his erotic act with reality. Jimi's death will always remain in our memories, but luckily his music will forever endure.

My theory is she was mad at Jimi, perhaps maybe he slept with another woman that day at the hotel he stopped into?(she called him a f-ing pig out loud w witnesses) So that night she gave him extra tablets and either made him drink it down with alot of wine to purposely OD him, or she gave him the tablets, then later poured wine down his throat as he was sleeping to kill him and it choked him to death. Then Eric Burden came over, saw that Jimi was dead, cleared the house of drugs and took the girl with him so she didn't get into trouble. It's sad that no one stayed with Jimi in his final moments. This tells me there was some foul play since she and Burden split. Maybe Eric will tell us the truth on his death bed?? rip JIMI

Though we will never truly know what had happened, ultimately all we have to go on is the physical evidence that Jimi left behind. The autopsy report is rather vague and incomplete. But it does raise the question how could there be so much wine in his stomach and lungs yet very little in the bloodstream? Is it possible to inhale that much wine into the lungs by one's self and not fight back instinctually regardless of intoxication? There was way too much wine in his lungs for his body not to react to the first moment when the wine went down the wrong way. It seems more plausible that it had been forced as though Jimi was waterboarded.

The wine story was either an invention by Bannister, or he was remembering a different case (he described the body as being that of "an unusually tall man". So obviously not Jimi, who was 5'10" - 5'11"). Remember that Jimi was admitted to Emergencies for immediate CPR - this is NEVER done on long-dead bodies, only those on the brink of death of died within the last 15 to 30 minutes maximum. This proves without a shadow of a doubt that he wasn't murdered.

Interesting. Jimi was about Peace and Love. Barbitol compounds, were known to be dangerous and deadly when combined with any alcohol If that was the case, then you are correct, Jimi should have been rolled into his side. However very little alcohol was found in his blood. He was drowned and made to look like something it wasn't. Few presentations look into Yameta, follow what there was of the Money trail. Millions of Dollars were missing and unaccounted for.

Well done account of his death. You have included a lot of things that are unfortunately often left out. Dannemann gave conflicting and varying statements. She is not a reliable witness to events. There are far too many inconsistencies, unknowns, and shady circumstances surrounding Jimis death. Unfortunately I don't think we will ever know for sure what exactly happened to this immensely talented and amazing young icon. I've studied Jimis life and death for years. The only thing I would add is the 2 to 3 bottles of wine found on and in him is highly suspect. Especially considering his low blood alcohol level at death. This was consistent with the 1 to 2 glasses of WHITE wine he reportedly had with his dinner. I think the facts just don't add up but there are so many unknowns and chunks of time unaccounted for or where a given timeline can't be verified or corroborated. You did an amazing job! 👏

I remember the day Jimi died. The following weeks Voodoo Chile(slight return)-All Along The Watchtower/Hey Joe tribute maxi single was released, which reached No.1. From all the accounts I have read & seen in documentaries (which is many over 52 years. Being an avid Hendrix fan) Mike Jeffery had mafia connections, which is where financial funding came from. Jimi’s contract was coming to an end which would have given Jimi the freedom to sign new contracts with other people - record companies/managers/producers/film companies...etc... Jimi knew Jeffery was defrauding him, and the whole Experience set up. Jeffery could not financially afford to lose Jimi. Jeffery realised Jimi was worth more dead to him than alive.

One thing that no has really thought about was his impact on this Vietnam war. The reason this is important is because every war past WW2 was created and planned (because they generate income) The government could have no liked that and they might have had to do something with his death. It was MH Chaos obviously who killed him. Monika Dannemann and/ or Uschi Obermaier (Who was also hanging around Hendrix before his death + fried Peter Green's brains at a party in Germany) offed him for the MH Chaos group based out of West Germany. Peter Green made the mistake of doing a show where he told his fans money wasn't important in life..and Jimi made the mistake of showing off his ideas for commune life in "Rainbow Bridge". After completing the film he told his friend he knew he was going to be dead soon as he got on the plane out of Hawaii. Plus what's the odds both these woman from Germany just happen to latch onto Hendrix right before he died? Not to mention what happened to Peter Green to boot! There's video of the members of FleetWood Mac describing what Uschi did to Peter....its horrifying to listen to.

Please don't take what I say wrong, but I truly believe and not just for the guitar work, that Jimi Hendrix was my last incarnation, like I remember going, he'd had enough of all the lies and falsehoods in the world. I've played out his lyrics in my own experiences, the lady I'm meant to be with bears a striking resemblance to Monika dannemann his other heart, his golden rose, my sensitivity is as Hendrixs was and I'm over sensitive and have been told I won't make it through this world as it's a material world and you're too sensitive. Hendrix could smoke more drugs than most at the time, now I struggle with addiction. I've mental health issues and cry and grab my hair and often times believe it's the devil controlling me, theres so much more, I'm a very spiritual guy, too much so sometimes, my head in the clouds, please understand, I'm not saying this just because I want to be Hendrix, nor am I pretentious, I've had a real hard time with this for too long and I'm seriously considering past life regression, Thankyou for taking the time to read this, I need it to be heard. Why did Monika have so many versions of what transpired that night in her flat? It strongly suggests she played a role in Jimi’s death that she’s trying to cover up. She had made a big scene outside the party Jimi was attending without her, insisting he come out which he finally did in order to appease her. The two went back to her flat. It was probably Jimi’s intention to return to the party where he could continue his flirting and philandering. It was no doubt her intention to prevent him from leaving her flat. The mystery is how did all the barbiturates get into his system? Maybe she tricked him by telling him they were Vitamins, or she crushed them into some food. Once he was sedated, she poured wine down his throat, perhaps out of spite, or, more likely she’s just plain crazy. Some of that wine went into his breathing tubes, drowning hm and inducing hm to vomit, which further blocked his breathing. There’s an important fact you missed: when the ambulance arrived at 11:27 am, they found Jimi already dead. It may have been accidental on her part, but she got away with manslaughter. She committed suicide in 1996, delusional and guilt ridden about having killed the world’s most beloved Rock Star.

The guy doing this video is missing the whole thing...Monika was working with Jeffery or was used by him...She didn't give Jimi a Mickey because Vesparax barbiturates have a very bitter taste...Jimi took them on his own after Monika gave them to him and told them they were weak German pills and he had to take extra...Monika did not pour any wine down Jimi's throat...It was done by Jeffery's thugs who had to make sure the job was done...Monika wasn't crazy...That's just a one size fits all excuse by people who want to blame her...If she was that crazy she would have done something to prove it in the remaining 25 years of her life...Sorry buddy but crazy people can't pull off a cover story so well that involved murdering the most famous rock musician in history...She was working with Jeffery and was probably CIA...You Monika did it people piss me off because you ignore so much evidence...

Exiles800 - if Monika was working with Jeffrey, then she would have been complicit in Jimi’s murder. So you also are saying she did it, albeit not alone. I”m not looking for an excuse to blame Monika. Her jealous rage at the party the night before and all the lies she told afterwards are the factors that lead me to that conclusion. I also concede it may have been accidental on her part. I admit the bitter taste of the Vesparax does weaken my theory, but your idea about what she told him and why he took so many pills is also speculation. It makes sense to some degree, but what evidence do you have that places Jeffrey and his thugs at her flat that night/early morning? Just because Jeffrey benefitted financially from Jimi’s death is not proof he did it. The one thing that does make me think there’s more to this story than meets the eye is what appears to be a half-hearted police investigation. Nothing gets by the homocide detectives at Scotland Yard. Yet, it seems really strange that they didn’t nail down every detail of testimony from Monika, the ambulance paramedics, the doctor who pronounced him dead, the people at the party, etc. Were they just assuming he was a victim of his own excess, or were they purposefully avoiding a thorough investigation at the behest of their superiors?
@Exiles800

@@robbes7rh The flaw in what you write is you never consider that Monika may have been duped in to setting Jimi up without knowing they intended to murder him...I suspect Monika was accessed through CIA or MI-6 and was simply carrying out her post-WWII espionage duties...Jeffery probably accessed her through Intel and Monika may have been following orders to dose Jimi in order to make sure he didn't leave London...In any case, Monika was there and awake when Jeffery's thugs came in and poured wine down Jimi's throat...Her jealous rage was probably based on the fear that Jimi would traipse off with the pretty hippy girls at Harvey's and not allow her to carry out her assignment...Monika showed an important side of herself when she called Jimi a fucking pig in the courtyard outside Harvey's...You keep trying to steer it towards Monika...Jimi's murder was clearly a Jeffery issue where he had all the killing motives...Monika was a just a tool and patsy...You are quite foolish to ignore Jeffery's personality profile and Intelligence background...He was the killer, of the two, with killing motives...Your attempt to minimize that is just investigatory negligence and is quite foolish...Scotland Yard avoided any honest investigation because they knew Jimi was murdered by one of their own Intelligence agents for Intelligence reasons that were encourage by their main ally's CIA...Monika left the planet when this was about to be uncovered...
@robbes7rh
@robbes7rh 4 жыл бұрын
Exiles800 - I’m not ignoring the possibility that Jimi was murdered in nefarious circumstances by his manager or someone else. There are unresolved questions about what happened in Monika”s flat that night. But as far as I know the only person we know for certain was there was Monika. It is unknown who, if anybody else was there. But it is clear that Monika has told at least 4 or 5 contradictory versions of events. So what is she trying to cover up? Yes, it could be that she was duped into setting Jimi up. I simply think its more likely she herself accidentally killed him to keep him from returning to the party where the two eager girls awaited him. By the way, what was the important side of herself that Monika showed when she called Jimi a “fucking pig” in the courtyard outside Harvey”s apartment? I would say it’s as clear a demonstration of her feeling jilted as you could have. The fact that Michael Jeffrey was doing shady things with the money from Jimi’s album sales and live concerts doesn’t mean therefore, he must have murdered Jimi. But if he did murder him, then what is the role of CIA and MI6? The elaborate intrigue you lay out is interesting, but it bears a closer resemblance to an action/suspense movie storyline than to reality. You may believe it to be true, but how do you know it’s true? Without substantiation and credible sources it is speculation.
@Exiles800

@@robbes7rh You can't ignore the triggering factor of Jimi firing Jeffery 12 hours before he was murdered...You speculate that Monika "accidentally murdered" Jimi...But you do so by saying Monika was trying to keep Jimi from going back to meet the pretty hippy girls...This shows you don't really understand the subject...The last party Jimi went to was an entirely different party in an entirely different place than the one with the hippy girls...Jimi had fired Jeffery in order to reorganize his management...Some random hippy girls were the last thing on Jimi's mind...What he was really focused on was getting back to America where he could try to organize his next move and see who he could keep loyal...Both Monika and Jeffery knew this so Jimi had to be kept in one place in order to keep him from doing that...The side of herself that Monika showed by calling Jimi a fucking pig was the Intelligence operative side that was working for Jeffery in order to target Jimi...Stop making excuses and follow the real facts...The role of CIA was eliminating a messianic figure and demoralizing a movement...Just look at Jimi's FBI file and you will see they listed him as a serious threat...You are quite naive Robbes...Anyone with any credible knowledge of these things would immediately see Intel's role in making this evidence never come out...Only fools see it all spelled-out in front of them and then demand evidence...Monika did not have the power to corrupt the autopsy and Inquest...That right there tells you who did it and why...

Hendrix was simitar to the Grateful Dead in that you never knew what you were going to get live. This was because they improvised live on stage. I don't think either of them played the same song twice the same way. You could get trash or you could get unbelievably brilliant music. I saw Hendrix live in Seattle, 1970. It was an outdoor event and he sounded like crap. The venue was poor for sound and the mix was trash but Hendrix himself was so high he was compromised, to say the least. That's just how live creative genius works. I've heard many Hendrix live recording and they are inspiring and fabulous. .
