I love the vibe of the song but I’m weirdly confused by the video! I’m trying to place how he felt emotionally for this to come out of the pandemic??? The song is talking about how he'd rather be drunk and lost than face reality. That's what the video portrays, it shows him being depressed and in the scenes he's alone. so instead of being alone he parties and drinks. The mud that appears represent all of his bad emotions. The person who pulls him into the club has mud on their hand, meaning that his negative emotions are what drive him to drown himself in alcohol as a distraction. Then in the hallway he's left alone again and the high is fading so the negative emotions come flooding back in. Eventually he's right back where he started, alone again, left with his emotions(mud). He feels like he's going crazy because he's stuck in a loop.

It’s an angsty relationship film with amazing performances about two people who love each other but are separated and frustrated by circumstances they can’t control. I think it’s brilliant that Jimin saw the metaphors and incorporated them into the song and MV.
