And though it is tagged as a sequel, any ARMY member can tell you that there is, in fact, no original “Set Me Free” in Jimin’s discography "he singer explained to CoS that the title is a wink a song on bandmate Suga’s 2020 D-2 mixtape from alter ego Agust D.“There isn’t a connection, and we weren’t trying to divide part one or part two,” he said. “But since it turns out my song talks about freedom and moving forward, and SUGA’s song talks about some of the stories that come before, I thought it would be good to come after that.”

❣Jimin’s “Set Me Free Pt.2’, it’s everything & more then I could hope for, Jimin’s amazing artistry, his so beyond spectacular,, so mesmerizing, phenomenal performance! The song, Jimin’s vocals, his dancing, the amazing choreography, also the amazing backup dancers, the lyrics he wrote, the music he composed as well as being involved in the production! Jimin was hands on, involved with every facet! No wonder the in-house legendary producer for BigHit Pdogg, who worked with Jimin throughout the whole album, stated that “in 2023 K-pop will be ended by Park Jimin”! Seeing this makes me that much more excited, waiting in anticipation for release of the full album, Jimin’s “FACE” on March 24, along with his other, main song ‘Like Crazy’ MV. Though Jimin’s song ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’, blew me away , meeting all my expectations & then some, I was also not totally surprised, because indeed Jimin is now ‘set free’ from the confines of being part of a group, to now be able to open up full throttle and ‘finally’ be able to release all that he held back for so many yrs! Jimin has been involved in every facet of creating this album! Hands on all the way, perfectionist that he is, including writing lyrics, composing, as well as being heavily involved in production! Jimin’s true, real, inner self will be finally seen in all its raw, authentic, amazing, heartfelt, passionate, emotional, sincere glory! This is aside from Jimin’s full range, hardly ever being shown, aside from high notes, but being finally able to show his full registry, mid range as well as lower registry as well! I’ve always been so frustrated not being able to see as well as hear Jimin’s full capacity of talent. So often not being fully taken advantage of, but that comes with being part of a group, that has every single member having so much talent that it’s been so limiting for Jimin, especially him being so selfless, making a point of having others shine before himself. As Jimin's utted I am SO proud of him, my heart is full of happiness and emotions. Finally I can see my man doing what he wants and be able to show all his brilliance and huge talent not worrying about the others. I expected something huge but this is another level, excessed all my expectations but after all is Jimin he definitely didn't bring to us less than this. This song is not only about voice and moves but his new chapter , his freedom, I could fell every single word he said and the moves fit so well in each word spoken. EPIC anthem! Jiminie is BOSS, the KING, an absolute GENIUS!!! There is no one like him - the IT BOY of his generation - and my ultimate bias!!! Btw, people seem to think the auto tune starts right at the outset but I don’t believe that’s the case. I am convinced the first two phrases are Jimin rap-singing in a very low register we haven’t heard before - it’s just layered to amplify his sound more; his voice is all there! You can tell the difference as soon as “I never stop” comes in auto tune - it’s so obvious when he’s in auto tune…a brilliant stylistic choice I might add!!!👏👏🔥🔥 NO ONE can pull this masterpiece off like our very own masterpiece, Jiminie!!!💜👑🐥👼🏻💜

First on March 23,, Jimin will be doing an interview, not sure if he’ll also be performing this song though, even though as a pre-release, it’s out already out. On March 24, the actual day Jimin’s full album “FACE” is released, along with actual main song from album “Like Crazy” MV, he will appear once again, to perform possibly both songs! Jimin, along with the rest of the group BTS, has appeared several times before throughout the years. 6:17 I hope you made sure there was no drool on the electronics 😂I’ve never heard a blend quite like it - it’s not quite hip hop/rap, but it’s not quite not, either? Contemporary hip hop? Maybe? The choreo is definitely a nice blend of those styles and pardon me for being crass (although I don’t feel too bad, I know this is something Jimin wanted to try anyway) but the way he moves in this, makes me really want Jimin to do a pole dancing vlog/special performance. I’m not saying it in any kind of sleazy way, I appreciate pole dancing as an innocent art form, and I think Jimin has the poise, grace and core to pull it off epically! 💜 I honestly think it would be a magical performance!
