@@patrickthomas8890My take on it is that producers underwrite a film and put their name on it, but are not necessarily intimately involved in making it. Spielberg might be more involved than some. Anyway, that's how I took it.

oddly enough, it's funny because there's a glimpse of truth in the joke: many producers only see a cut of the actual movie or some scenes the director wants to show them. That wasn't the case with Spielberg of course, but it happens more than we think.

Glick is King of the talk show genre. A classic interviewer, hard to believe he was preceded by Carson, Douglas, etc. But, every genius has his flaws. He has an eating disorder. Please, Glick, get help, we don't want to lose you to heart disorder.
