Fun fact: I was also at the party in Axl Rose's hotel room in Vegas where Jim was also at, high on shrooms. I had wanted to go say hi, but noticed he looked like what I can best describe as "lost and confused". It was later I discovered he was on shrooms.

All I had was bad trips before because I was young and scared/paranoid... mushrooms still invoke these feelings but now that I'm older I'm able to tell myself that its just the shrooms and not to worry and try breathing and enjoying the funny colours... honestly, get someone who your comfortable around pop them and just stare at shit together... you'll have a blast... mushrooms are not dangerous

My wife and i have therapy sessions with each other 2 - 4 times a year where we just take decent doses of various psychedelics and walk and talk and play. It helps to extract the nonsense from our lives, clear the air between us and have a great time. They're a great time and a wonderful tool. BTW psilocybin containing shrooms don't have a purple to black spore print its purple to brown spore print. Also the modern movement is separated from ancient use by a very long time. The new wave started in our era (50yrs ago ish) in Mexico with a female shaman. That said many cultures all through time have used shrooms.

I remember back in the day when mushroom were legal here in England... The way I understood it (and this is supported by no research, just what my mates said back in the late 90s) was you could have the Mushrooms on you and could pick them (they grow from cow pats, again what I was told) but if you prepared them into a tea (strain the liquid through tights etc) it was a class A drug (same as heroin & crack).

Liberty caps grow over here too, took me 3 years to find some and it was a huge field with over 2000. Taking 100 is a lvl 5 tripp but I always ate 200 and wanted to be alone. I've never had a trip where I'm happy, I cry and experience sorrow. I've had 1 life changing one when I decided to never lie or raise my voice again, it's one of the best things that ever happened to me.

Fun fact, in central Europe magic mushrooms (especially Amanita and Liberty caps), were used to grow by the churches. Churches were built on the ground of old pre-christian pagan ceremonial/sacred places for rituals and the reason why those ceremonial places were there is simply that it was a magic mushroom picking spot. And that's why some old churches are on the hill, by the forest...

Notice I specifically said "debilitating" which means not your average anxiety attack but the kind of anxiety attack that is associated with actual physical issues that always lead to either a stroke or heart attack. if a heart can only pump so fast because of debilitating issues, then the person can blow a valve easier than a person with a normal healthy heart.
