I had one IKEA do the same in Malaysia. They even include in door movement announcements to ‘take care of your child’s safety’. Seriously, why can’t they do what the Japanese did, which is to actually place sensors that detect if someone puts their hand and stops the door?

This is a children's museum and because I'm an adult, I didn't want to just go inside the facility for the safety of the children.
