Nic Vieri - Co-Founder of Backyard Bike Shop.
Prior to leaving South Africa, Nic was a junior national-level swimmer and elite racing cyclist. He started his career as a bike mechanic in 1999.
Nic co-founded Backyard Bike Shop following his departure from the British Armed Forces - where he continued to race bikes.
Nic is Afrikaans first language; he actually only started learning English at the age of 9, and completed an Ironman in flip-flops because he forgot his trainers. Nic is sponsored by Enduro Bearings.
