This song reminds me of my grandparents. Specifically, how my grandfather was with my grandmother. He would just love her so fully. If she was cooking, he was there watching and whistling a little tune either from the radio or whatever he had running around his head. He loved her and I can picture him whistling this. They were married for 66 years before grandpa passed in 2013. Grandma passed earlier this year. They also traveled quite a bit. They were dog show judges and have been to many places and I would wager California was one of those places. But grandpa's love for grandma was always there. That is what this song reminds me of, a love that could withstand anything. Ironically, their last name was Allen. I know I am probably not making much sense here, but music and what it makes you think of, whether it be a memory or a feeling, is specific to each person. I picture my grandfather and his relationship with my grandmother. Also, what I hope to find when I find the person who is out there for me, just like my grandma and grandpa.
@tiffanygirard53734 жыл бұрын
Nicole Bouchard You made perfect sense❤️ And, thank you for sharing. I could see your grandma and grandpa in my mind. Your comment reminded me of how much my grandpa loved my grandma. Neither of them ever dated anyone but each other. He took care of her himself when she was paralyzed because of a stroke, and even though I wished he had embraced a new life after she was gone, he always said, she was the only one for me. My grandpa was such a handsome man, girls would come to mom’s sleepovers and fawn over him from afar, but my grandma was the only woman who ever got to have him. Thank you for reminding me of true love ❤️ That always makes sense.

@@tiffanygirard5373 What a beautiful story ❤ Thank you for sharing it with me. True love does exist, it's just getting harder and harder to find anymore. You’re a great artist man, if you ever make it mainstream, don’t stop making music like this, it’s nice to have a different feel to it. It seems country nowadays is tryna move away from this and make it more “hyped” and party oriented to fit in. For all those who are unaware or in denial, Country music, just like Rock and Roll, was created by us and was hijacked so he’s well within his lane.

I used to think of a girl I like but now I’ve seen the video and I won’t ever think that again. Makes me think of my grandma. Everyone says their grandma was the nicest lady you would’ve ever met but with her it’s the absolute truth. She lit up rooms with her smile. No matter what was going on in life her attitude never changed. Always positive. And she defintly had reasons to not be but she never showed it. I think about her every days and that’s not an exaggeration. I love you Baba.

I think I'm in loveeeee!!! Blake and now you!!! I've been a fan of country western music since 1990, but I'm quite particular about whom I listen to!!! I heard your voice but only your voice and I thought you were a White dude, with a REALLY great voice, but seeing your face and your unique style has pushed you to the next level!!!! You got yourself a new fan and sub!!💜❤ The lyrics are soooo awesome!

Absolutely in love with his voice and style! I can't stop listening to him. I'm trying to promote the black country singers because they deserve so much more attention. We need more! Let's spread the word about black country singers. 🎶💜🎶
