The commentary by Michael Johnson is insane. "Boldon didn't get off to a very good start" Boldon was first out of the blocks and in front the entire race. Plus his jealousy of Bailey is so evident.

He also didnt like greene at all. I think the hate for greene started later but he liked baily over greene. Johnson actually was a good commentator for british television. I remember on the tonight show he let it be known how much he dislikes maurice greene

@@ggqbc at this point, Johnson and Greene were cool with each other. Johnson was very complementary to Mo at the beginning of his reign from 1997 to 99. I believe is after Greene was looking to challenge Johnson at 200m for the Sydney Olympics in 2000, that’s when the rivalry was born. Greene came into 2000 as the world champ over 60 to 200m, with the 100m world record. MJ was the Olympic Champ over 200m and 400m (along with being world champ) and was the record holder over both distances. Their egos got the better of each other

johnson said that cuz boldon usually gets out better than that. for boldon’s standard, that was pretty average

So Donovan pulled his hamstring and still managed to win a silver medal??? This guy is seriously underrated. He would've easily won that final if he was 100%.

And then he pulled it again during the 4x100 final, he was limping bad after crossing the line.

Greene is why Bailey's reign at the top was short though

Would, should, could don't have a lane on track. That's why they run the race. Ashford would have won gold in 1980. Oops USA boycotted. Blake should have been a Jamaican legend oops Usain Bolt beat him to it. USA could have won gold (4×100) in Athens oops baton woes. Get the point?
