Jimmy, an accomplished guitarist who had a revelation listening to Angus Young at the age of 14, and his brother Morgan, famous drummer with the Mats/Morgan Band and former collaborator of Frank Zappa. But even more than Zappa, it was Captain Beefheart and his unstructured blues that most fascinated Jimmy. He set up a project based on Captain Beefheart's repertoire, intended to accompany an exhibition of the composer's paintings; Morgan Ågren on drums, Mats Öberg on keyboards, the fantastic singer Freddie Wadling (you did a few tracks with him) and above all Denny Walley (former guitarist for Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart and Tom Waits). Checkout the Jimmy Agren Band from 17 years ago. This class of musician has no need to learn, it's in there DNA and they just evolve. Checkout Matts Morgan's 1st TV appearance at the age of 9, and this is the music that needs to be preserved.
