For what it's worth......I had no idea that this was going to happen. Her dad messaged me thru facebook and said if I had my guitar with me to meet him at the side of the stage. I had 5 minutes to get ready. I didn't know what song she wanted to play until I got up there and I'd never played that song before. I wasn't nervous until I got up there and saw all the people......holy crap!!! It was still an amazing experience and I can't thank Ally enough for taking a chance and bringing me up there with her. She didn't have to do that. She had never seen me play other than some videos online. Ally and her family are some of the nicest people around.

What stands out is Danny's awareness and respect. So much communication in his eyes and knowing when to step in and step back, bases on cues from the band - absolutely complements every other player while taking the place he's offered. Not only an amazing player with a future in the business, but an amazing team player who will be a pleasure to play with. There are grown ups who can't work together like he can. Way to go Danny.

But depending on whether she's doing because she wants to be noticed vs just feeling herself is not known to onlookers. Guys notice attractive woman. This isn't weird. This is basic biology; just like some women look for a man who are strong and stable, to protect and provide, a man looks for beauty as a sign of health and fertility. The weird part is when men accost women they feel they are entitled to BECAUSE they attract them. Yes that's disgusting and yes those guys need to be put away because they don't know how to control themselves. Met Danny and his mother at the extreme/living colour show in Indianapolis and they're two great people. Both of them were very kind and good natured. Glad to see he's going places with his talent. I wanted to be friends with them forever.

The guitar is likely new, it's appearance is probably old via the "relic" technique. I am only going by the neck being roasted maple which was not available until about 2018, if you knew someone. Of course it's possible the guitar had a new neck but then all the hardware / pick guard would have been new too or so it appears, at that point you'd have to ask if it's an "old guitar." I don't mean this in a negative way, the guitar is likely a custom shop making it about 4 times the value of a "regular" Strat and the kid deserves it more than just about anyone else.

I am very impressed by the young man. The way he plays his guitar is just wonderful. I really like the fact that you can read almost every single tone on his face. He feels the music - great. (but sometimes I think he plays with his face a little bit) I hope I can hear and see more of him live soon.... and please don't exchange this guitar for another one.
