Rest peacefully now Tina. ❤ Thankyou Michael for showing this song & for your heartfelt words. Jimmy was ecstatic to record this with Tina, as he tells the story of how at the age of 16 in the mid 70s he & several friends snuck into the Apollo Stadium here in Adelaide, South Australia to see Tina performing. He got to the front of the stage & stood in awe of her performance. Her raw energy & passion left him astounded. He has said he fell in love with her then & there. Much love from Australia 🇦🇺💕

Tina was beloved in Australia to this day the best way to fill a dance floor in Australia is to put" nutbush " on the stereo. Tina has shared the birthdays the weddings and all the other celebrations people here have she will definatly be missed and remembered. Simply the best . ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

This song was done for the national rugby league in Australia. Tina Also done (what you get is what you see) Tina was the face of rugby league in Australia from 1989 to 1995. The national Rugby league and all clubs have paid tribute to her this weekend. Tina was the shot in the arm Rugby league needed at the time. RIP Tina🙏

Tina and Jimmy singing together is a match made in heaven. Their voices are perfect together and you can see the camaraderie between them. Jimmy said when he woke up to the news of Tina’s passing, he was really shocked. Back when they made this video he was told he had to dance in it. He was really worried because he can’t dance, but then Tina whispered to him, Don’t worry I’ll make you look good. That’s the kind of person she was. RIP beautiful Tina.❤️

RIP Tina, you were an amazing singer and person! Jimmy remembers that the producer’s wanted him to dance in the filming this and he can’t dance to save himself. Tina saw the horrified look on his face and lent over and told him to just stand there and she would make him look good!😂

Jimmy is the male version of Tina. What a great duo. Did they do any other songs together?? I saw her with Ike in my college years. / around 1967. I just dated myself/ She was mind blowing and I did not even know who she was back then. I never forgot her and never will. She was a great lady. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about her with your followers. Love all around.💔

It’s shocking the number of greats in all walks of life that we are losing, almost on a daily basis. It makes me so cognizant of my own advancing years and my own mortality and I’m angry and scared at the same time. Tina was a legend, her impact to music is incalculable, IMO. A brilliant singer, a trend setter, very gracious, a survivor of an abusive relationship, she felt more at home in Switzerland because of her husband and also because of the greater acceptance she felt in Europe. I saw a video of her and Bryan Adams singing a song and I felt bad for Bryan. Try as he might, he could not keep up with Tina and she was not even going all out. We could see and feel that she meant a lot to you. Nice tribute Michael. 🙏

Anyone else keep crying when they see her? Mannn I can’t help it it just happens what a woman. Force of nature she was . And when people say legend they give that name anyone these days who dies but this woman right here really is a legend the life she has lived from being a child and to come out on top and have a career lasting as long as she did …. Miss Tina you are an actual legend! I’m so glad she married a nice man in the end and lived in her dream home ❤ and had the family … she is so loved and I hope she knew that

Jimmy Barnes considered this moment one of the greatest highlights of his career. He got to sing with his hero and when he met her, he was gobsmacked by her warmth and generosity to him. You can see the joy on his face. Jimmy grew up in abject poverty in a town that suffered abject poverty. When he was a young teenager he and his friends snuck in through a back door at an Ike and Tina Turner concert. It was the first concert he ever saw. His friends were more interested in causing trouble but Jimmy was spellbound so he snuck right up to the front near the stage so he could see better. The way Tina performed was like nothing he’d ever experienced, she was a wild force of nature and in that moment he decided he was going sing like her. The rest is history… We in Australia had a special place in our heart for her and for some unfathomable reason she loved us back. Today the world is a little darker because Tina is no longer with us. Vale Tina Turner.

Feeling so sad but seeing this I couldn't keep the smile from my face... I feel so blessed that we can still see all her wonderful moments especially this one as I know she loved Jimmy and he will be missing her too. I recently watched two of her epic performances at Wembley Stadium in the UK she was 60 but you would never guess as she danced and ran about but still belting out those legendary vocals. We won't forget this Amazing Lady 💔

Tina was a true legend in every sense of the word. No one had her style and voice. Her voice always reminded me of a sexy saxophone solo. The old legends are leaving us every other month it seems. Just the other day the musical poet Pete Brown passed away. I know of him because he co-wrote many of Cream's songs. Songs like White Room and Sunshine of your love. Back to Tina. I discovered her through Miami Vice of all things. We wouldn't have Beyonce without Tina and her stage presence.
