When you start using the square needles you will love them. My husband got me a set of Kollage interchangeable knitting as a gift the last Christmas we had together before he passed away. The square needles are very easy and comfortable to use. I also have a set of the Knitters Pride shorts in the interchangeable needles as well.

Tink, tink, tink is like knittings version of frogging. I believe it’s when you have to unknit.

Yep! It's knit spelled backwards because you're unknitting one stitch at time (as opposed to frogging when you rip the stitches out en masse (rip it rip it ribbit ribbit))

This is an increase stitch and doesn't leave the lace type hole a yarnover does.
