Jimmy was right about his Dad and Chuck couldn't accept it just put all blame on Jimmy.

Jimmy talks about his father like he was a complete utter failure. As man, a husband, businessman and as a father. Jimmy was right about his dad though he didn’t have it in him to be a good businessman.

Despite Jimmy and Marco misdeeds with their cons, Marco drew the line never ruining anybody by still having some morals and wasn't in denial of the actions he did. Unlike Jimmy, who didn't want any accountability by stealing from his parents.

Marco is more sentimental than moral. In "Marco" episode of season 1 he seemed giddy at the thought of "rippin' off old folks" when Jimmy mentioned doing elder law. Jimmy is his childhood friend, so I'm sure he just enjoys the scamming for going down memory lane with an old friend. The point of them showing that side of him here is to dramatize how Jimmy is tunnel visioned in on the scam after 'doing the right thing' for too long and 'working countless hours' as he derides here. It's the same drive that pushes Jimmy later on in season 3 and onwards as Saul Goodman (and also as Gene in 6x11). He views it as a life-wrecking mindset & views life as a binary choice of 'make someone a sucker or be a sucker.'
