I was never a big Jimmy Buffet fan, but I did like his music and I especially liked him. Jimmy was genuine and I admired the way he was able to brand himself and the island lifestyle to the point of becoming a billionaire. So sad to hear of his passing, but he sure packed a lot of life into 76 years. Godspeed Jimmy.

Saw Mr. Buffett in Toronto at the Budweiser 7-13-2019 and he was at the apex of his career. Hearing him sing, "Come Monday" and other songs for over 2 hours were all beyond breathe taking. Rest in Peace Jimmy. Thank you Sir, YOU never never ever will be forgotten.

A great memory! I was at this Oct. 2019 MGM Grand show in Las Vegas following the all-day JB pre-concert pool party at the Flamingo Hotel Casino. Both were immensely fun for the music and for celebrating with fellow Parrotheads. Was also lucky to see him in March 2023 at the MGM for his final Las Vegas performance. What a shock to wake up to a text message today that he had passed. He brought so much joy to so many people for more than five decades and for me since 1977. His books were also excellent as was the hit play Escape to Margaritaville. I have plenty of memorabilia to continuously remind me of Jimmy and of course countless songs to bring great feelings. May he rest in peace at that One Particular Harbour.

❤I married a Parrothead and became one. We were fortunate to see him in Berkeley, Tahoe, then West Palm Beach. After I moved to Northern VA and saw him again at Jiffy Lube. I went alone, but had lots of dancing buddies at the end. The best memories I've ever had were being a fan. Smooth sailing Captain Buffett.

Thanks for posting this great music. Back where I come from is a great song written by Mac and recorded by him and Kenny. You can substitute many southern states on the lyric and it works. I like to say Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, and Louisiana because they all fit I. The lyrics and I’ve lived and family lived in all those and visited and many many other states. This music is fun vacation sunny beaches and bourbon street fun times singing. The whole show was great and I love Vegas too Las and Stark. Both know who to party and sing however most all these musicians learned to sing and play in churches bars and thier homes . Musicians who took other career paths appreciate other great musicians. I haven’t been around the world but I’ve traveled a few of the most beautiful places on the USA and the islands around it and Mexico.
