Jimmy Butler has said no to Memphis. What should the Grizzlies do now?

While i liked the idea of what Jimmy could do to our starting 5, i was not thrilled about the idea of gutting our depth to bring him and his drama to Memphis. We have one of, if not, the best benches in the NBA, and I value that cohesion more than than bringing over a guy who isn't gonna give you his best effort every night.

Great news about Butler! That last thing Memphis needs to do is to give up great young guys for an old player that is very selfish. Regardless of his skills we cannot ignore the player "asking for a trade." I prefer the older times when players lived up to their agreements and didn't ask to be traded. It makes no sense to draft such a selfish crybaby.

I think we just have to fix some probable problems defending big guards/forwards if GG Jackson doesn't fix it. So my options would be Herb Jones (probably not available), De'Andre Hunter (i'm not sure if available) and Jarace Walker rookie contract and with no minutes in Indiana

If GG comes back and plays like he did at the end of the season last year, he's a 6th man of the year candidate. I hope they don't entertain trading him. I say Ja and GG are the only 2 that are off limits
