I'm genuinelly interested in your opinion on this: why do youtubers often feel the need to comment on how bad they look? Your hair and the fact you thought it made you look like a troll reminded me of that - I know it was a small joke but I stumble over this so often with other beauty gurus that I really like and it kind of surprizes me every time. You look like a Greek goddess no matter how you wear your hair, but I get it, this is your job. Sort of a shobiz/performing kind, so you want to look your best, but at the same time it's your everyday life, so I guess you are going for the natural look as well, right? I get confused with many beauty/lifestyle vloggers because of this - it's not a full glam look all the time, but then they tend to appologise for the tiniest things like it's their duty to be immaculate or something. Am I missing something?

And I realize it's not so much her, more me stumbling across beauty channels (watch a lot of them lately) so I get the feeling I listen to comments about ____ (insert imperfection) all the time. So it made me think about it, because I would wish we didn't have to feel obliged to appologise for every hair sticking out (again - talking in general, not about Lydia Elise), know what I mean? Just be ok with the fact that hair sticking out and a bit of mess around us (not Lydia's case, but youtubers tend to comment a lot on it)is ok, adorable and human. Having said that, if we lost all sense of criticism, we would stop caring about ourselves, and that wouldn't be ok either...
