On one hand, I really really loved that this was a manga based collab and that some of it was “loud” (namely, the shoes and that Luna bag) but some of it was more understated. I actually believe this is how you make an effective collab when using a manga/anime as the jump point. Loewe did the same with Howl’s Moving Castle, but I believe they could’ve done better. That being said, I hate the cost of this in relation to the material used to create it 😅 I’d call myself a ✨fashion girly✨ and own enough enough luxury goods (from Chanel, to Louis Vuitton, to Gucci, and more) to know up and down. I think that Jimmy Choo priced this correctly to potentially even underselling themselves in comparison to other fashion houses. I say this knowing LV retails canvas bags for $2100 & up (the tote in JC’s was $1995 USD) with Gucci around the same ballpark. The second hand is out of control though, and I refuse to spend over a certain amount for a fake leather bag 🤣 I’ll keep looking & these are just my 2 cents!

Some of the paper could be used for junk journaling. Everything is gorgeous. The Luna card holder could be displayed in a shadow box. Those shoes. THOSE SHOES! I love it all.

Mamochan and Usako on the front of the shoes is from the last act in the first manga, he is kissing her handkerchief and she his moon watch ☺️ Thanks for sharing this video!

The scene on the shoes im pretty sure is the masquerade ball where Mamo chan catches the falling Usagi and the attack. Such gorgeous sneakers!!

Wow😍 My favorite item would be the phone case bag! The manga panels art is gorgeous, and i love the rainbow gradient theme throughout the collection. Also, the shoes are insane!! You are so lucky!

They look so lovely!! I still wish they were real leather since that would have made them so much easier to care for. Just keep a close eye on them and if they start to peel or flake at all it’s time to retire them to a display case. Even not using them at all PU can deteriorate, the shiny PU skirts from the pullips have that issue super bad. Hopefully one day we get another collab using the manga art!

Don’t display because you could get yellowing and sun damage - use dust bags to store and keep in a dry cool location - if you have high humidity it will damage items

I am really salty that this one of the few manga image collaborations (though the repeating image also feels a bit lazy at the same time?) and they're way, way too expensive for me to even think about buying any. Especially when that cost really means I wouldn't want to wear them or use them; the Vans have already done that to me. The fact they use fake leather for that high cost is also pretty annoying; that's just being cheap at that price point. The fact they were surprised that so many people wanted it is just....absurd at this point. I find it really hard to believe someone didn't do basic research to realize this would be crazy popular. But I have to give them credit, the packaging is A+. I would be pretty happy with a box and the wrapping paper.
