This is as good as it gets ... this is music artistry .. hits me right to the core. My mother and father were British and we lived in Florida when they came to the U.S. but they had a place down in Jamaica and that is where we all grew to love the early reggae ... and of course Jimmy Cliff. I love the purity of this unplugged version.

Even he changes some lyrics and sing it with some added ones, this song is a pleasure for ears, a cure for the mind, a medicine for the heart and a masterpiece for whom who wants to understand. Im 27,heard this the 1st time by the UB40, then 1 day I said to myself that somewhere or somehow, this can't be UB40's song. Search for the original, and found it at the age of 12.I was like'' no way''. His voice was like someone that you never see, never existed, trying to call you into reality. I remember listening to it and trying to figure out what was the meaning of this song, till I started to smoke some weeds. This was playing inside my mind. Many rivers to cross, but I can't seem to find my way over. Being young and already got too many rivers to cross in life. Some i tried to cross and succeeds, but some still crossing. Bless to you all out there trying to cross these rivers. Together we'll succeed. BLESS
