Jimmy Donn, this song is very important, a lot of people who have grown up in broken homes will relate to this and this song would of saved someone's life, or lives for that matter, anyone who has been bought up in broken homes who don't know about this kind of music and just listens to mainstream tend to not get far in life, all they know is competition with everything, money clothes etc, when your in that situation and can't compete no matter how much you try and being bullied because of it, it puts you in such a depressive state which I believe leads to suicide in many cases, to the ones who have managed to reach this music will tend to be ok, now you think of how many people have liked this song and how many fans you have, that's saving lives right there, no matter what the size is of a fan base you have, that's saved lives which is more important than any mainstream song ever invented in my eyes, I could be wrong but it's my opinion. Artists like yourself are vital to people like us. it's a life saver in disguise if that makes sense, rip to the fallen.

Bro as a grown man I'm gonna admit this song brought tears to my eyes. Just a little over a year ago I watched my friend shoot himself right in front of me, his mom, his sister, young niece and his daughters mom. We all tried to reach him in time but before we got close to pulled the trigger. This song is so powerful and hits home so close. Some People do not realize the life long affects that a suicide, It is devastating to those that love you. I wish I could have saved my father and for a long time I was mad at him, mad at me, and mad at the world. I felt abandoned and like I was not enough to keep him around for, That was my child mind. my adult mind realizes now that he suffered from manic depression. In 1984 mental Health had not advanced in the way it is now. my father had SUD with a MHD which we now call COD and Psychology is finally getting data on these Disorders. I guess what it comes down to is the stigma has to go, it needs to be replaced with acceptance and nonjudgmental understanding. We must remember, "Love endures all" Just dont let go!!!

Man it sucks. My son was born almost four yrs ago and the day he was suppose to come home my father in-law took his own life. It devastated my wife's family. Then ON OCTOBER 10 my best friend of 15 yrs ended his life. Its left such an empty hole. And now I'm left with nothing but questions of how didn't I see any signs and why? It's just so painful but I'll make it threw and so can everyone else. Just have to confid in others. Let out what you have to say it helps to talk.
