I was in the audience for this taping. Our reaction if you are wondering was... everyone was very surprised, freaking out a bit but also confused. We didn't stand up for him but we cheered of course. He kept apologizing lol. When he asked if we were disappointed, some hands raised, but he did a great job and talked to us in between sets! Also his wife was there supporting him which was really cute

I think Jimmy Kimmel is a great guy and has inspired a lot of people, but sometimes he can get very political and I just want to watch Fallon to escape all of that.
