are these made with double fin box also? to allow for other foils than the gofoil, such as the Takuma v100 or Naish Thrust Surf foil

Hi Greg, at this time the Jimmy Lewis Hover Craft boards are available only with Tuttle Box insert. We will have Blue Planet Easy Foiler boards available early 2018 with both Tuttle box and two US boxes for plate mount foils. For more information on the Easy Foiler models, please check out our 2018 brochure: issuu.com/blueplanetsurf/docs/blue_planet_2018_brochure

Looks like a great board and similar lines to the Naish Crossover. I'd like to use more use on no swell light wind days. Kai makes the Crossover ideal but he could make a log look usable.

I hate to be a Debbie downer, but I see that’s going the same way windsurfing did where it takes ideal pristine condition’s to get it to work. We live on an inland river so I don’t think I will be able to use this ever to use these

Hi Bryce, foiling is a niche sport and certainly not for everyone, you need some waves so, like SUP surfboards, they are not suited for flatwater paddlers. Foiling does not need ideal pristine conditions though, it actually makes small, junk surf fun and opens up new spots and lets us enjoy otherwise unridden waves. So for SUP surfers and prone surfers it's a nice addition to the quiver for junk surf and a great new challenge to master.

Bryce I think it needs to be said that you shouldn't ride these things when the waves are breaking and there are no people or Surfers in the water anywhere around you. That being said I can see how they be really fun in Surf that doesn't actually break or is very mellow. I think they're probably best for ocean down winders riding ocean swell. But I've actually seen a few guys able to get the foil flying in a calm lake scenario four maybe five hundred feet pumping it around 15 mile an hour with no paddle looks pretty cool let's hope everyone plays it safe and knowing gets there head sliced off. A kiteborder l hit a Mahi mah fish with the foil he saw the fish flopping around next to him so he grabbed it by the gills brought it ashore!!!
