Actually it kinda makes sense Jimmy would be able to breathe underwater in the Jet Fusion game cuz in the Jet Fusion episode, he had some kind of special invention that allowed Jimmy, Sheen and Carl to breather underwater. That seems to be the only thing that actually stayed true to the cartoon special.

Even if I don't know anything about them, you make it engaging and make me want to know. And I'm also putting highlights 8:44 Oh no! It's Jimmy.exe! 9:11 Great, first the clown mouth, now this? Why does the theme park consistently get pure nightmare fuel levels? 11:45 why do the backgrounds and platforms remind me of Earthbound fights? 17:30 Reminds of the time Kirby commited genocide for a piece of cake in Squeak Squad/Mouse Attack. 20:52 Did Konami publish this one? 24:07 Humble beginnings I guess. 33:43 Nitro sounds like he just got hit with a rickroll. 40:30 I just noticed you can see the white line around Jimmy's hair from when that Jimmy Jpeg was cut out.

I wonder if maybe the story for Jet Fusion was based off an early draft of the film or something, I always get reminded of The Lion King for Mega Drive and SNES when I hear about stuff like this, the game was based off an early draft of the story so it has a bunch of levels that didn’t happen in the movie, e.g. the volcano level.

I recognize Tantalus as the studio that ported Sonic Mania to the Switch. Really surprised that they worked on the Zelda remasters, given how little of note they made before then. EDIT: Also, I believe the actual reason why GBA Video paks aren't compatible with the Game Boy Player is to prevent people from recording them onto a VHS or DVD-R, which is stupid because there is no way anyone would try to pirate such low-quality footage, but I guess they didn’t want to risk it.

Man, this Jimmy Neutron GBA series of games seems like it would be some good Kusogrande fare. So fun fact about the Gameboy Video cartridges, it was a massive factor in 4Kids Entertainment filing for bankruptcy due to going behind the anime providers’ back to cash in on the franchises they were dubbing, particularly Yu-Gi-Oh! in an under the table deal with Majesco, getting sued in the process. As a One Piece fan, it was a bright day indeed when they lost the rights due to this series of lawsuits and their notorious dub of the series ended with the Straw Hats died by a boat falling from the sky on top of them, to transfer to a much more substantial dub via Funimation.

The way he explained the aiming in Jet Fusion sounds exactly like how it worked in the GBA Metroid games, so it's surprising to me that he apparently hasn't played those. It seems like that game was generally trying kind of a Metroid thing with the power-ups, albeit more linear. Though thinking about it... Jet Fusion, Metroid Fusion... I also had a song in my head that would pop up randomly. I used to whistle it constantly until I got reprimanded for annoying everyone (same thing happened when I learned to snap my fingers). A few years ago I found out what song it was. It was marins song from links awakening dx which I played as a kid a lot

I was looking forward to this one, as the Movie GBA game was the only Neutron game I ever owned. I remember being bored with it, but looking at it again I can see that it's actually pretty solid. Also, at 4:08, that's an egg spoon, not hedge clippers. 10+ years later and I still somehow remember that.
