I cannot imagine my life without Led Zeppelin, & this is as close as it comes!!! Utterly INCREDIBLE! Thanks for bringing so many memories back. LOVED them back in the 70's & 80's,, & even more so now!!! New Rock bands just SCREAM into a microphone, & call it rock.. Zep SANG songs, used ballads, & ROCKED the WORLD with their rock & roll, & their SEXY bluesy tunes. They were the GREATEST of ALL TIMES!!!! ❤😅 Thank you, Led Zeppelin, for making my musical life WONDERFUL!!! 😊

Page plays with so much emotion, he literally feels every note he plays! People make the mistake calling him sloppy, he's living in the moment, improvising, Page never plays anything like the original recording, if people want that, listen to the record! Nothing the same, two nights in a row. This band has so much energy. Page and Plant, still performing like in their twenties!! Brilliant!!

@@maryjvanderwerken3192 I agree completely. Page recently made a public appearance playing his Gibson DoubleNeck! It was good to see him do that again! Probably for the last time. And Plant recently sang Stairway and Black Dog at a Benefit show for Andy Taylor! Poor guy is fighting for his life again st cancer. I hope he makes it. Too bad they didn’t play those songs together on Stage but I think 2007 is the last hurrah. The window is closing rapidly and the years are going bye fast. @@dynjarren8355 I thought Jimmy was great recently at RRHOF, I think he must have felt weird being there without his great friend Jeff Beck. Saw RP at Andy Taylor benefit, it was a great cause, but I was a bit disappointed in RP's sound. Perhaps it was the acoustics. Robert had a scorching🔥 duet with Imelda May last year, on a Jools Holland Show. I wish RP would tour with her. His duets with Allison are celestial, but he sounds like he's singing with his sister. NO ONE would mistake Imelda May for his sister! Jimmy is 80! in January. 😅🎶💙🎶
@dynjarren835511 ай бұрын
@@maryjvanderwerken3192 Imelda May sings with fire in her voice. I bet she inspired him live. I’ll look for that duet on KZbin. I bet it’s good. I’m not a country fan so I don’t care about Allison. I get what Plants doing musically. He’s exploring different aspects of his voice. Less bombast and more subtlety plus different kinds of music. I think it was some kind of dream or wish fulfillment for Andy Taylor to play with Plant. Page is 80? The decades flew by. I don’t like that. And Beck passing away reminds him that time is fleeting. But all one can do is try to keep living.

If they would have invited John Paul Jones, and used Michael Lee as their drummer, #1 They would have carried on the Name of Led Zeppelin, and #2 It would have been Disrespectful To John Bonham's son, Jason Bonham. As We All Know, In 2007 Jimmy and Robert FINALLY Called John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham and Became Led Zeppelin, One Last Time. Plus, Jimmy and Robert Made a Good Fortune Together touring as:Page and Plant doing World Tour's, Just the Two of Them making Millions and Millions of Dollars and paying Their Bass Player and Drummer only Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars. Page and Plant were Very Business about setting up an Album and World Tour's. Make No Mistake, Michael Lee and John Paul Jones, would have been on All these World Tour's with Them, It would be Priceless. I totally agree with You guys that Page and Plant should have been with John Paul Jones and Michael Lee, but it was All about the Band's Name, and of course Money !!!

It's a shame the original Led Zeppelin stopped in 1980. And only in 2007 did they give a single reunion concert at the O2 Hall (they were so good there!) instead of going on tour again. John Bonham would certainly have said: “Keep on going!” His son and John Paul Jones would have deserved it. Page and Plant ok, but they only fill 20,000 capacity halls at most, not outdoor stadiums. If they went on tour with John P. Jones and J. Bonham's son as the reunion LED ZEPPELIN, they would mobilize all Zep fans and set a world record in every city which history has never seen. It's a shame that their fans can't experience something like that. Is there a manager with courage missing, or do they not have the courage themselves? It would be feasible. Why not? Until then, soft-pop musicians like Ed Sheran, Taylor Swift, Coldplay, etc. will fill stadiums worldwide like no rock band has ever managed, not even the Rolling Stones today. Many huge stadiums even on five days in a row. I do not understand that. It's a strange world today.
