I cannot imagine my life without Led Zeppelin, & this is as close as it comes!!! Utterly INCREDIBLE! Thanks for bringing so many memories back. LOVED them back in the 70's & 80's,, & even more so now!!! New Rock bands just SCREAM into a microphone, & call it rock.. Zep SANG songs, used ballads, & ROCKED the WORLD with their rock & roll, & their SEXY bluesy tunes. They were the GREATEST of ALL TIMES!!!! ❤😅 Thank you, Led Zeppelin, for making my musical life WONDERFUL!!! 😊

Page plays with so much emotion, he literally feels every note he plays! People make the mistake calling him sloppy, he's living in the moment, improvising, Page never plays anything like the original recording, if people want that, listen to the record! Nothing the same, two nights in a row. This band has so much energy. Page and Plant, still performing like in their twenties!! Brilliant!!

Unreal. Completely other level cosmic stuff. The rest of the world have no concept of what they missed with this. Instead MTV and the music industry decided to focus on Page's collaboration with Puff Daddy. Robert was like, "No thanks.", and left.

@@maryjvanderwerken3192 I agree completely. Page recently made a public appearance playing his Gibson DoubleNeck! It was good to see him do that again! Probably for the last time. And Plant recently sang Stairway and Black Dog at a Benefit show for Andy Taylor! Poor guy is fighting for his life again st cancer. I hope he makes it. Too bad they didn’t play those songs together on Stage but I think 2007 is the last hurrah. The window is closing rapidly and the years are going bye fast. I tried to get tickets to the 02 2007 show in London but wasn’t lucky 🍀 enough. That’s how it goes sometimes.

@@dynjarren8355 I thought Jimmy was great recently at RRHOF, I think he must have felt weird being there without his great friend Jeff Beck. Saw RP at Andy Taylor benefit, it was a great cause, but I was a bit disappointed in RP's sound. Perhaps it was the acoustics. Robert had a scorching🔥 duet with Imelda May last year, on a Jools Holland Show. I wish RP would tour with her. His duets with Allison are celestial, but he sounds like he's singing with his sister. NO ONE would mistake Imelda May for his sister! Jimmy is 80! in January. 😅🎶💙🎶
@dynjarren8355
@dynjarren8355 11 ай бұрын
@@maryjvanderwerken3192 Imelda May sings with fire in her voice. I bet she inspired him live. I’ll look for that duet on KZbin. I bet it’s good. I’m not a country fan so I don’t care about Allison. I get what Plants doing musically. He’s exploring different aspects of his voice. Less bombast and more subtlety plus different kinds of music. I think it was some kind of dream or wish fulfillment for Andy Taylor to play with Plant. Page is 80? The decades flew by. I don’t like that. And Beck passing away reminds him that time is fleeting. But all one can do is try to keep living.

If they would have invited John Paul Jones, and used Michael Lee as their drummer, #1 They would have carried on the Name of Led Zeppelin, and #2 It would have been Disrespectful To John Bonham's son, Jason Bonham. As We All Know, In 2007 Jimmy and Robert FINALLY Called John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham and Became Led Zeppelin, One Last Time. Plus, Jimmy and Robert Made a Good Fortune Together touring as:Page and Plant doing World Tour's, Just the Two of Them making Millions and Millions of Dollars and paying Their Bass Player and Drummer only Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars. Page and Plant were Very Business about setting up an Album and World Tour's. Make No Mistake, Michael Lee and John Paul Jones, would have been on All these World Tour's with Them, It would be Priceless. I totally agree with You guys that Page and Plant should have been with John Paul Jones and Michael Lee, but it was All about the Band's Name, and of course Money !!!

@@krisstieghorst7415 there isa reason the follow up album bombed and they haven't worked together since - there was a chance for real growth and rebirth here, I was at the first 5 shows and many more on this tour and the next, my point isn't that it wasn't good, rather it had an opportunity to be so much more. Consider who keeps releasing new music and pushing boundaries and who has done nothing in the intervening quarter century since. @@AldousHuxleysCat fully respect your opinion, I'm upset The Firm didn't add RocknRoll fantasy to their setlist at those shows ( I hope they see this..😅🥊🥋) but that's ok it was an honor just to be there. And they did not charge an outrageous price at these shows either. I'm confused about bombing out you speak of at these shows... SOLD OUT quickly at that. No hostility or sarcasm meant at all. Berty shattered my heart Oct 6th ( cancelled show/ fundraiser....) But I'd never publicly verbally bitchslap him. I keep my respect badge on. You got to see them 5 times! Post Zepplin...I'd feel fortunate & proud to have been there in the last seat in the house. And that includes all their solo stuff too. Years ago I got to see Jason Bonham at a tiny bar....What a thrill!! At a deathmetal festival seen JPJ with Those Crooked Vultures with my kids, again What a thrill! For alot of us, these were a once in a lifetime experiences we'll never forget. Love warmth & happiness to you 🖤🦋🌺

@@krisstieghorst7415 The Firm? They haven't preformed since 1986. I don't believe they preformed any Free, Bad Company or Zeppelin songs. I never said the shows bombed. Page & Plant released 2 albums, the 2nd did not do well. Other than a couple of songs it was very weak. No idea who Berty is.

I never watched any of this stuff as it just felt like a weird era to me (even living through it) seemed half assed. Al the acostic guitars, no Jonesy and a stage full of incense, rugs and 12 Morrocans with sitars. No Quarter was not my thing. So much so I ignored this whole Clarksdale era. What a damned fool i was, this is incredible, what i wanted from the start.

It's a shame the original Led Zeppelin stopped in 1980. And only in 2007 did they give a single reunion concert at the O2 Hall (they were so good there!) instead of going on tour again. John Bonham would certainly have said: “Keep on going!” His son and John Paul Jones would have deserved it. Page and Plant ok, but they only fill 20,000 capacity halls at most, not outdoor stadiums. If they went on tour with John P. Jones and J. Bonham's son as the reunion LED ZEPPELIN, they would mobilize all Zep fans and set a world record in every city which history has never seen. It's a shame that their fans can't experience something like that. Is there a manager with courage missing, or do they not have the courage themselves? It would be feasible. Why not? Until then, soft-pop musicians like Ed Sheran, Taylor Swift, Coldplay, etc. will fill stadiums worldwide like no rock band has ever managed, not even the Rolling Stones today. Many huge stadiums even on five days in a row. I do not understand that. It's a strange world today.
