nice old camaros. im bringing back to life a 71 camaro at this time. they have to be a RS to have a split bumper front end. this is my 6th 70-73 Camaro build. keep building! peace

@@vsavage_old_rockerz I was just going to comment on this. I had a 71 RS. The front turn signal lamps are round and up on the front panel.

@@vsavage_old_rockerz picked up an L 71 California , NO ENGINE , NO TRANY CODE ON COWL TAG . NO BUILD SHEET .. possible DIY copo rolling chassis out of factory .?? Nastyz28 said that this bad year for Camaro,last year for California plant to build Camaro, federal government stopping the go fast car's, Ralph Nader told insurance to charge more for Z28 or Z27 tagged car's ,no engine to speak of , cheep insurance?? Stuff Corvette 427 into Camaro at home day one 1971 ,brand new Camaro ...seen it before with my own eyes 👀..new car , different motor , day one ....

I'm thinking the green camaro's not a split bumper. They normally are Rs or z-28's and will have a rubber grill surround extension. They didn't make any a/c split bumpers or z-28's either. Great video buddy. Keep it up.

You’re correct it’s not a factory split bumper.Split bumpers were available 70-73 and were mostly Rally Sport or Z-28.Factory split bumper cars would have round park lamps/turn signals right next to the headlamps. .Standard full front bumper cars had the long park lamp/turn signals Underneath the bumper.

In 1970 they made a 70 1/2 z28 lt1 that was a solid bumper. I believe that they made split bumper in 71 and 72

You obviously don't know Camaro's as well as you think either. '70 isn't the only year with the split bumper. '71-'72-'73 also had the split bumper if you ordered the RS model. The RS is what makes them split bumper.

Not an expert on split bumper cars but I believe he's wrong split bumper cars had the turn signals next to the headlight instead of down below and neoprene nose piece
