Gear used is in the video, and I threw in some shots of the effects pedals when they get used.
I must of listened to the distortion part a hundred times to try and decipher it. I looked at other covers on here but most seemed a bit off. I got it as close as I could. Pretty sure Justin uses the GT2 pedal for this part (the same as the H. sound). I tracked the distortion part twice, each with a slightly different setting, and panned each hard left and right to emulate the original track. It sounds like Justin maybe plays two slightly different riffs, or approaches the rhythm a bit differently on one, I dunno, there's a lot going on in that part. Most other covers don't use delay for the flanger part, but I'm sure I hear it in there, it's subtle, so I clicked it on. This song shows how great Adam and Justin work together by playing something slightly different, then match each other occasionally when the song needs it.
