Wilkins is in another league as far as smoothness. He does every trick with so much elegance and float. I can tell you Way nor Burnquist could do airs so high to back disaster, that one is all Jimmy, nobody comes close. He’s innovative with how much style he has brought to vert. Burnquist and Lasek may have more tech air tricks, but the consistency of Wilkins doing backside grinds is on another level too. Bob never had good style, still one of the greatest ever. They’re all incredible at different things and to say Wilkins hasn’t brought anything unique to vert is just false. Idk why you mentioned D Way because he was never anywhere close to Wilkins or Parelson here. His vert prime was the 90s and they were not doing such tech tricks back then. Mega ramp a different story but D Way pioneered that, he was never really the best at it imo though.

Skate companies PLEASE release more vert footage and sign more transition skaters! It’s so fun to watch and a good break from nonstop street footage. Proud to ride Bronson’s and I hope they continue promoting vert and transition skaters. I remember when Jimmy and Alex were the young up and comers, now Jimmy is the best out there. I’ve missed seeing Parelson in contests lately but I don’t think contests suited him. He’s doing some wild switch grinds across the channel! Dude is one of the few to have 900s but he rarely did them.
