I has a qustionnnn lol was there ever a time in a clinic where you disagreed with the trainer/professional’s advice? If so how did you go about the disagreement- did you tell them you disagreed and would rather not do that or did you follow their advice in the clinic and then just didn’t continue using their advice afterwards? Merry Christmas! I bought open front tendon boots for my fine boned ottb to giver her legs some extra support, she has had a few stumbles recently and I’m a worried momma lol, but my trainer took them off. She was saying something about the tendons and ligaments aren’t able to stretch down when the horse moves, but with all the hours of research I did on jumping boots there was nothing said about it. Also my vet said that the boots are a really good idea... I’m not quite sure what to do. We used to have a clay/sand arena so she wasn’t stumbling as much, but we recently moved and it’s now an open grass field and she’s gotten used to the footing and terrain but still stumbles at least 1-3 times per ride. Please help lol 😂 Ps I absolutely love Little Zo bird and her tail flips!

Isn’t it hard for Zoe to jump over a jump with no ground pole? I learned that since thy have bad depth perception, they need a ground pole to see how high the jump is. Without it, it kinda looks like a floating pole.

You are right, jumps w/o a ground pole are harder and that, s why on higher levels ground poles are not allowed. But horses learn to jump them over time, especially smaller ones :)
