In other words his goal in the race was to race clean (no penalties and as little contact with other drivers) to prove that he could compete safely without causing incidents on the track. Especially starting that far back, winning was not only not the goal, but not an option. But a good clean race picking up positions from where you started is as good as a win to show a team that you belong on the track.

I really love the rearview cam you guys got going on there. I just wish it was mirrored so that it matched the way the cars flew past you instead of the guy who was marooned on the inside grass went past you on the right but it was on the left side in the "mirror". Hey Jimmy, you might mirror they rear cam to make it seem more like a rear view mirror. Currently you see a car dive down on one side in the rear view mirror but it actually is on the oposite side. For example here: 4:36 . Just noticed and I thought that I would do it that way.
