@@juim1j honestly I do not know. Jimmy just pointed out that to blame sim racing for the falling driving qualities (while using Jann's horrible accident at Nordschleife) was at the very least callous. Also Jimmy Glick picked up fights against so many companies.

The fact that this game still carries issues that rF2 carries for many many years doesn't make me think that Motorsport Games and Studio 397 will ever solve these issues. From a simulation standpoints it's amazing but the bugs make it less and less attractive as other simulations improve.

What an excellent first impression video, you covered almost all the scenarios and looked at the game from a single player perspective which is so rare since most games are always online now, the plug and play with a relatively new wheel is nice to see too, plus you stopping yourself to think of the position that the publisher is in before saying if the game is worth the consumers money , a great expansion of rf2, looking forward to the progress of the game and the full review

You can actually control the hybrid, at least the regen map and the deploy map, in Kw. And you better keep an eye on that, in the Peugeot (and the Ferrari, Toyota), it can go all the way up to 200Kw and will deploy over 120kph, which...depletes the battery in less than a sector, while regen at 200Kw means it can be quite nasty under braking. Hybrid management in the LMDh cars is quite easier, can't deploy over 50Kw and it regens at 170Kw.

Thanks fo the gameplay :) First notice about the AI is a flaw that rF2 also has: the AI does not tow...Seems like once you have passed an AI, they drop in speed and pace. AI does not outbrake you and that is a true shame. I really hope the dev team is able to fix this tow problem as it kills the immersion. Unless the AI is on a different strategy but that needs more time and more experience inclusing pitstops and such

Great review, and looked like you were having fun which is the goal of playing games first and foremost. Most of the time when a game releases in EA I will wait until its much closer to being a full release but still buy it early enough to get the early price point. Most games these days have a fairly lengthy EA period and the studios are using the EA players to get feedback and find the bugs and issues. I think ACC has proven when a studio concentrates on a single racing series that it is possible to really develop the cars and characteristics of each car to closely resemble its real life counterpart against the competition in the game. This game has the possibility to be one of the top games in the future if it is developed correctly with the right features and modes the players want to see.

Thanks for your video. I have watched a few live videos with Le Mans game and the game has very good graphics. The AI does look pretty good when watching Jadier's racing at Spa. And the overall game play and menus look very good. I will not get this game at this time until they provide VR months from now, I don't do online racing anymore - don't have the time, And will I get the game since it only has 7 tracks and no modding - undecided. When VR becomes available and then there is a STEAM sale price, I may get the game just for the VR. I have similar tracks in other games, so nothing is new there. I have RFactor 2 game and really enjoy spending time on it. This game is too limited in the kind of racing done. I see this game being strictly for online drivers that want to do long endurance racing or team racing. Not into this type of racing at all. Good luck to those that like this kind of thing. Bought the game, it comes across to me like a situation where the execs told them after Lemans last year that they will be pulling funding after Q1 2024. thus the game has to ship before then for any more work to be possible.

I love the ISI 2.5 physics engine, by far my favourite engine for sims. And I was so looking forward to the next game Motorsport games made, and would love to support them. Unfortunately however, I don't really enjoy driving LMP1. I like LMP2 and other lesser prototypes, but not really enough to buy a whole game just for them. So I'm in a bit of a predicament. I'd much prefer RFactor 3 honestly

The fuel meter is pretty nuts. It shows 141+ laps of fuel, but ticks down really fast, so not much help when trying to determine how many laps you actually have remaining. Edit: I noticed that it seems to figure itself out after a couple laps.
