I drove a bus like this for a couple years in college, needless to say it had considerably less power than this. The hardest thing to get used to, after realizing the thing is a whole 40 feet long, is the fact that the front wheels are a good several feet behind you, so you really do have to "overshoot" where your brain is telling you to turn.

Guys, I have something to tell you. The place where you can take off at the beginning of the lap is not actually called "Flugplatz", it's a part of the section "Quiddelbacher-Höhe". According to the official website of the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, the section Flugplatz begins after the first right kink after the bump and continues until the left-hander, which belongs to the part of the track known as "Schwedenkreuz". The name comes from an old airfield that used to be next to the track.

My city has a huge fleet of turbo diesel busses and in a couple of areas the traffic is quite bad so the bus drivers would have to launch to get across the street. The first time I experienced it it was amazing, no warning, except hearing the bus build boost for 4 seconds with 40 peoples weight there was no wheel spin. But the buses are being phased out for LPG buses.

Gollee, Jimmer, you make this stuff look so easy. I was pretty great at Forza on controller, so I thought I'd be okay with a wheel on AC, but it turns out that the transition to a real sim is harder than I thought it would be. Heck, FH4 on a wheel is harder than I thought it'd be! Maybe some of it is being slow around the track because I don't know my braking points, but it's been a rough go for me either way. Gotta get used to feathering onto the throttle more.
