Ive had a dualtron for maybe 5 years and there’s something about these scooters that cant be replaced really. You can go as fast as cars and go on roads in town. At red lights you can hop on sidewalks and keep going. You can go through parks and to places like St Louis arch is where i would go a lot. Motorcycles aren’t allowed. You can leave your house at 3am in the dark in complete silence wothout alerting a soul. They’re so quiet you’ll be rolling 30 mph and come up behind a dog who doesn’t know youre around until youre right next to him and the dog and its owner are scared to death when they see a vessel moving 30 mph right next to them all of a sudden. What I like to do at dark is go to quiet places with a great veiw of the sunset. The scooter has brought a sense of peace in my life being able to maneuver outdoors in that way and see so much and unplug and enjoy nature and some peace and quiet. A great way to look at real estate and explore new cities. I put mine and my daughter’s scooter in the van when we go on road trips to different cities.

For that price and with that much power those things need VESC Controllers. The brakes on the Wepeds are severely inadequate... there is no way they can repeatedly stop that scooter from high speed without overheating and warping. A VESC controller would let you do most of the braking from regen only which is far smoother and recharges your battery instead of overheating rotors and pads. The Wepeds are cool but I would have to choose a RION for that price.

we need more content like this. more high end scooters to open peoples eyes to the ability of this form of transportation. people still think scooters only last for 10 miles and only go 12 mph its ridiculous. its just like tesla man, everyone thought electric cars sucked until tesla came out with their banger model s that won every award possible for a car. the best way to attract people to a product or a type of product is with an absolute banger. segways, inmotions and xiamis are maybe wat most people need only but for people to actually direct their attention to something, it has to be eye-popping. WEPED is eye-popping, RION is the eye-popper of eye-popping in this industry. u should see people's reaction even today when i tell them what a mere zero 10x can do lolololol, imagine how they would react to these weped goliaths!

It's so well built, rides nicely for something that doesn't really have suspension, the gokart tyres take a little getting used to, I'll swap mine out for PMTs in the near future. Amazing the power of some of these scooters. A little fast for my blood 😂😂. And out of my price range but I do enjoy watching them break the sound barrier 😂😂

6:35 - What’s that mean?! is that normal? Or are you doing something wrong? If it’s not normal how close does it need to be repaired and how dangerous is it? Is it because you were on the wrong setting as you said a few seconds earlier? Edit 6:58 bad break pads, got it!

What I like about Weped is the huge battery capacity..the build quality is Korean..and Not Communist crap! Dislikes is the price that I can't afford..maybe in another life 😔 Enjoy boy's.. envious to the max!

The power is insane and an entire car would have been that fast, I think the speed is voltage/motor kV PRM limited but not power limited otherwise with air friction compensation only they would have hit 100+ !
