I remember being a sophomore in college and watching this in class and was amazed at what i was watching and now ima senior in college about to show this again in my filmmaking class. This is brilliant!!! Idk how someone can be THIS ELITE in premiere pro and after effects
@JamesDallara3 жыл бұрын
Thank you man that means the world. This was my first Adobe project, honestly one of the reasons I made this was to try and learn premiere pro and after effects, so hearing that is really cool. From my eyes it’s far from brilliant and it’s chalked full of flaws, but I learned a ton from it in the process and wouldn’t change a thing.

Hi! I was wondering how long this project took in total? It’s super cool!
@JamesDallara4 жыл бұрын
Lucia Lewis-janes it took roughly 7 months. Originally I wanted to do it in a week but every time I sat down to work on it the idea grew until it turned into what it is now. I explain a little bit about the process / project in a frame between 3:02 & 3:03

Hey! this whole thing wasn't just fucking shit
@therealtornadosam3 жыл бұрын
While this is very interesting, the focus seems to be more on effects than concept.
@JamesDallara3 жыл бұрын
Actually interestingly enough, part of this project for me was an excuse to dive into and learn the Adobe suite. So with learning premiere pro and after effects I wanted to implement all the effects I’d always wanted to learn how to do, into this project. The underlying concept is progression and moving forward as a video creator and so part of that is showing how my style changed over the years, from the videos shown in the beginning to this project itself, meaning that the effects for me are actually part of the concept. Thanks for watching and for the comment.
@therealtornadosam3 жыл бұрын
@@JamesDallara Every experimental film should have a concept, or at least a neat idea; that's the whole point. With what you just told me, I'll buy yours. Interesting that the style of filmmaking itself in relation to the filmmaker is the idea itself.
@SlenderGamer564 жыл бұрын
That was a beautiful film, but I hate that you gave me the meaning. That may be your style, but it honestly ruined it for me.
