Insane lightning from dangerous supercell! A spectacular supercell developed in NSW and crossed the border into Queensland dumping hailstones to at least 7cm in diameter.

Finally, I had time to watch the whole video, very impressive to see on widescreen and with subwoofer switched on, especially the part with the intense lightning. It helps me to bridle the uneventful time, the storm season starts in May in my area. Greetings from Austria, Andy :-)

I wish we had storms like this in NZ... any chance I get I'll go driving to see the small amount of thunderstorm (s) we get. So awesome, though. Great video man, keep at it! :D
Great catches! Don't stay under power lines though, not the best place to be during a storm like that.

Aah please, in the beginning of the video such beautiful lightning you catch everytime and only put the lightning parts right after eachother, but not let us hear the thunder. Thunderstorms are not only lightning, but also the nice thunder like music in the ears. The ones we DO hear, are sooo damn high quality, so why not share? It's would be lovely. But i love the part on 6:50, lightning right in front of you on clear sky. Wow! And that BANG on 7:29, wow! But why not filming ALL of those thunder strikes? WHY?! It would be so much better like you did from 8:10. I LOVE IT!🥰

Thanks Shaun - it was a hard chase to travelled 9 hours to get to the storm and then moved with it over the border to get the giant hailstones!
