@@jimmydiresta Agree with all that. Great ideas yadda. Are ya gonna install some kinda DIROTISSERIE? (nudge/wink) Gotta remember chickins and roasts and briskets and turkeys and such, no? I made a similar deal in Peru from a 2' diam x 1/2" wall thickness x 3' length of steel pipe stolen from the gold mine I was workin at. Held heat excellently. And required a fork lift to move. I'm sure that expanded steel grate was NOT galvanized--zinc imparts a peculiar flavor.

And then you land on videos like these .... We were a actually fighting about the steel sheets he used for the wood box / fire box. I said that he must have bought an armored truck on an auction, and chopped it up to make this beautiful, "Bulletproof", / "Insolated", smoker. This is SO next level, that i kept on asking him, why are we still watching this, because obviously we do not have that type of skill, or that type of workshop for that matter .... And still, we kept on watching ... Truly a magnificent peace of art work, "MAD MAX" style !!! Very nicely done !!! 😎👌🍻
